Cassie’s Pov
The desk I was seated on was so perfect. It was as though it was made for us because Shawn could comfortably fuck me on it.
It was only now I realized how hard silent sex was. It was difficult stuffing in my moans because I didn’t want anyone to suspect us, especially when the sex was so good.
“I’ve been wanting to do this since I saw you in this dress.”
“Your cock!” I moaned as I felt my eyes heavy with tears.
Tears of pleasure!
There was something so different about the way Shawn was making love to me right now. His pace was not fast and neither was it slow. It was just perfect and what made it more intense was the fact that we couldn’t touch each other as much as we wanted so as not to ruin our dress or my makeup. It felt as though we were trying to be good kids while slightly violating the rules.
“What about it, baby?” His voice filled with desire as he continued to drill me.
“Feels so good.” I moaned.
Shawn pulled me down from the table, he bent me over the desk, spread my legs, then entered me from behind. This time around, he went hard and fast on me until we both came. My legs were terribly shaky once he was done with me but he held me still till I got my balance.
The room had an adjoined bathroom. We went there, cleaned up, and were back in no time.
“Feel better?” Shawn said as he snuck his arms around my waist from behind.
He placed a soft kiss on my exposed neck.
I turned around to face my husband who didn’t let go of my waist.
“Nothing happened,” I whispered.
His lips curved into a smile.
“I had no idea you were shy of me.”
I rolled my eyes at Shawn who was beginning to get lost in my cleavage.
“Up!!! My eyes are here.” I pointed at my face.
Shawn chuckled. “He took a step closer to me and kissed my exposed cleavage.
“I don’t care what anyone thinks. But yeah, nothing happened.” He said.
“Thank you,” I mumbled. “We should go. I don’t want anyone thinking dirty.”
He laughed.
“Shawnnnnn!!!!” I groaned.
He leaned closer once more and shut me up with a long deep kiss.
…………………………….
Shawn and I got back to the hall and went straight to our table. Kelvin was seated and beside him was a beautiful woman, probably his date. Donald was on his feet. He was talking to a man his age but excused himself the moment we approached the table.
“Sorry about earlier. Don’t let what happened mess with your head.” Shawn’s hand was on the small of my back as his father spoke.
“No, thank you for defending me.” My clothes would have been a mess if he hadn’t intervened.
“I did what I had to. We are family. I’ll make sure they don’t bother you anymore. And don’t be worried about anyone giving you strange looks. Travous and I had a word with the guest when you and your husband were away.”
I had no idea why but Donald’s words brought tears to my ears. This was literally what any father would do for his child.
“Thank you.”
Donald nodded. “Is it okay if I borrowed Shawn for a few minutes?” I could sense it had to do with business so I let go. Shawn placed a kiss on the side of my head before he left with his father.
I was almost helping myself with a chair when Kelvin beat me to it. He rose to his feet, then pulled out a chair for me.
He bent his upper body and whispered in my ear. “I was joking when I said you all should get a room. I didn’t know you were going to take me seriously.”
I couldn’t help with the way my cheeks heated up.
“I know nothing happened but don’t tell Shawn I teased you. You know how much of an asshole he can be.”
I chuckled. “I thought we agreed you wouldn’t call him that?”
Kelvin chuckled. Feels so good to see you both get along. I hope you aren’t sad because of what happened earlier?”
I know he was referring to Rhoda and Lori.
I shook my head.
“That’s good to know. You’ve got nothing to worry about. Shawn is going to put them in their place.”
Hearing those words from Kelvin boosted my confidence so much. In as much as it was fun to see them burn in pain and jealousy after making a fool of themselves and then realizing that Shawn was my husband, I had no doubt that they would be after my downfall.
“Meet Tessa.” Kelvin introduced me to the gorgeous lady seated opposite me.
“Tessa, this is Cassie. My sister-in-law.”
“You make me sound old with that title,” I mumbled and we all burst into a peal of satisfied laughter.
“I do apologize. Meet Cassie, Shawn’s wife.” Kev reintroduced.
Tessa and I exchanged greetings and shortly, Kev excused himself to go get us desserts.
“Your dress is lovely. You are so gorgeous.”
I smiled shyly. “Thank you. You are very pretty too.”
“Yeah! But not as breathtaking as you are. My cousin is going to pass out tonight when I let her know that I met Shawn’s wife.”
I chuckled. “She’s a fan?”
“A very big one! So many hearts are going to be crushed when you and Shawn make it public.”
I swallowed painfully, fiddling with my fingers. I think Tessa noticed how tense I got.
“Sorry if I said anything offensive.”
“No, it’s fine.” I forced a smile. “I’m just still getting used to the public space.”
“I understand but I don’t think you have anything to worry about. They are just going to grumble about him being off the market. Shawn chose you and that means you are queen!”
This time around, my smile was a genuine one. I knew it was going to take a while to get used to the fact that I married no ordinary man.
“Isn’t that Stella? I thought she said she doesn’t attend events anymore.” Tessa said, staring at something behind me.
I looked behind me. My heart fell at what I saw.
Stella. Shawn’s ex.
She and Shawn spoke for a few seconds, after which She reached for his hand and led him out of the hall.
