On the racetrack, every move the racers made inside their cars was watched by cameras in the sky—measures put in place so no one could cheat.
Talking to teammates with a Bluetooth earpiece was totally banned. The cameras caught this sneaky move, but they never showed the footage to the crowd.
Even if the organizers saw Daniel cheating with their own eyes, no one dared to say anything. With his strong background, he was someone none of them could afford to cross.
The race kept going. Looking in his rearview mirror, Daniel saw that flash of red—Zoe's car—coming toward them at crazy speed. She wasn't just trying to catch him; she was aiming to take the lead.
Daniel sneered, "Damn Clusian girl. If you'd just stayed in your place, maybe I'd have let you go. But now? You're as good as dead."
Meanwhile, Zoe pushed the accelerator to the floor. Soon, she was about to break through to the front, joining Daniel, Diana, Brady, and Job in the fight for first place—becoming the fifth person chasing the championship.
But two cars ahead of her purposely slowed down, blocking her way as if by accident.
Clearly, when these foreigners couldn't beat her fair and square, they started using dirty tricks to stop her from winning.
A faint, confident smile came to Zoe's lips. In her eyes, a cold, tough look flashed—a look that sent a chill through everyone watching.
The storm got even fiercer. Zoe was set on winning this championship.
Zoe pressed the gas pedal hard, shooting forward like lightning, not slowing down at all.
At first, hardly anyone noticed what was happening, but as the two cars ahead started showing more and more of their plans, the crowd quickly realized something was off.
"Damn, they're cheating now."
"Anyone fighting for the championship usually has powerful backing. Daniel is the son of a big arms tycoon from Yaniston. Diana and Brady also have strong backgrounds. That's the reason they dare to go for the title."
"That Clusia girl might have some skills, but she's doomed. Honestly, I don't think she'll just lose—I think she might not even make it out alive."
"Oh man, a young life might end today."
Some people started mourning for Zoe right there on the track, as if she'd already crashed.
Seeing this, Henry and his team all turned pale.
"Henry, what do we do now?"
"Zoe's still too new. Pissing off the other racers before the race was a rookie mistake. Now we can't even tell her to back out."
Henry was nervous.
Daniel's two helpers couldn't beat Zoe in a straight race, so they were just messing with the other racers.
Whenever they got in the way, the other racers had to swerve to avoid crashing, so the track in front of Zoe was blocked by all this chaos.
There was just no way she could get through. Not a chance.
"This is so dirty. They're messing up the race just to stop Zoe."
"Damn it, if I were the referee, I'd ban those guys for life."
"But in this way, Zoe would be safe."
What happened next totally caught everyone by surprise. When things got intense, Zoe suddenly switched lanes and shot straight for the outermost track.
The outer lane was the longest one. In a race where speed is everything, taking the outside track just added more distance—no one in their right mind would do that.
By choosing the far outside, Zoe was now a lap and a half behind the leaders.
But right then, she pushed the gas even harder, her car racing forward at a speed that made the racers in the inside lane look slow.
The two racers Daniel sent to block her didn't even have time to react before she zoomed past them. The crowd gasped again in shock.
"She just did a 180-degree drift on the outermost lane and passed all the cars blocking her! Am I seeing things?"
"This is the most exciting race I've seen since Fox was on the track. I can't believe I get to see that kind of thrill today—I'm honestly stunned."
If Zoe got one more lap, she would catch up with them.
Daniel totally freaked out. He jabbed his Bluetooth and cursed, "You idiots! You're useless!"
He added, "If you mess up again during the last lap, I'll toss you both into the river and let the crocs have you!"
The two racers jumped at his threat, not daring to slack off. There was just one lap left. In races like this, everyone runs the same track, so all the cars keep bumping into each other again and again.
If one falls a lap behind, the leaders will just lap them again.
The two racers purposely slowed down, timing it so they'd meet Zoe again. As Zoe's car approached, one of them signaled to the other.
They both eased up, waiting for Zoe to squeeze between them as she chased after Daniel, who was just ahead.
Suddenly, both cars swerved in at once, hitting Zoe from both sides. Trapped in the middle, she was like a burger—completely helpless.
"That Clusian girl is about to get smashed!"
"Blood's gonna spill everywhere. That young girl from Clusia is way too naive. She doesn't know how nasty things get."
"When she's dead, I'll take some photos of the mess to remember forever."
Just as the wild foreign crowd hurled insults at Zoe, the two racers' cars were about to hit her side.
A loud screech of metal rang out, sparks flying everywhere. Everyone braced themselves, thinking Zoe's car would fly apart.
But on the big screen, Zoe's lips curled into a cold, mocking smile, full of contempt and playful teasing, like she was laughing at their ignorance.
Next moment, she jerked the steering wheel, turning her car sideways. Using the force of the collision, she did an incredible reverse leap.
Her red car shot up, jumping over the roofs of the other racers. With sharp turns, Zoe used the other cars as springboards, bouncing herself straight toward the front.
She was heading straight for Diana, Brady, Job, and right behind Daniel—her car glued to his bumper, ready to pass him at any second.
The entire grandstand erupted—everyone jumped to their feet, eyes wide with shock.
