Troy used to disdain Zoe, convinced she was nowhere near Shawn's level. But after seeing Zoe's behavior this time, Troy changed his view of her. He thought, 'I can't believe she's this strong.

Troy continued, "Actually, it's not just me who doubted you. Many of our comrades in the unit resent you. Because you nearly got Shawn killed last time. When everyone found out you were the reason he almost died, we all felt bitter towards you.
"But after seeing your combat skills firsthand today, I know you're truly Shawn's equal. I've completely changed my mind, and I'll make sure to convince the others to stop giving you any more trouble."
Zoe stared out the car window, paying no mind to what Troy was saying.
Seeing Zoe's silence, Troy assumed she was worried about the days ahead. So he said, "Don't let it get to you. As far as I know, many of those who oppose you are elite operatives trained by Shawn.
"Their strength is not to be underestimated. They might not match Shawn, but they're more than enough to handle you. Even some of the unit's senior officers resent you."
Troy only told Zoe all this to repay the favor. She had just saved his life after all. Seeing that she remained silent, Troy thought she was too scared to say anything.
After a brief silence, Troy added earnestly, "If you ever run into trouble, just let me know. I promise I'll help however I can."
