As Tommy crept up behind Zoe, everyone held their breath in anticipation. 'Just watch. This arrogant woman is about to get what's coming to her. Even if she doesn't die, she'll wish she had,' they sneered inwardly.
With a deafening crash, a figure was sent flying like a human cannonball. Everyone's eyes followed the airborne body in stunned disbelief.
"Look at that! Tommy just sent her flying," one of the thugs jeered.
"Told you she's all show and no substance!"
One of the thugs sneered, "Now let's see her act all tough."
"Move! Grab the chick and strip her bare. Let's show everyone what she's got!"
Ryder's thugs were practically tripping over each other in their rush to get their hands on Zoe.
"W-Wait..." one of the thugs stammered nervously. "If the one who got sent flying was that Clusian woman... then who the hell is standing right here?"
As soon as those words left his mouth, everyone's gaze snapped back in unison to where Zoe stood.
"How the hell is she still standing there?" Ryder blurted out in shock.
"No fucking way... Tommy got sent flying?" Shane's voice cracked with disbelief.
If even the two leaders were this shocked, their underlings' collective reactions were downright exaggerated—eyes bulging, jaws dropping in disbelief.
Everyone gulped in unison, stunned that a woman could be this formidable.
Shawn stepped up to Zoe and handed her a tissue. She took it, wiped her hands, then tossed it to the ground. "Who's next?"
"Damn, this chick's got some serious nerve!" one of the thugs muttered.
Another spat, "Damn, that bitch actually dares to provoke us?"
"I've had enough! I'm taking that bitch down myself," Shane snarled, unexpectedly stepping forward in a desperate bid to salvage his pride.
Ryder grabbed Shane and snapped, "No way. Let the boys handle it."
'Are you kidding? Shane has no restraint. If I let him handle it, he'd probably beat that woman to death. How the hell am I supposed to make money off a dead body? Even her organs would be too damaged to sell fresh,' thought Ryder.
Ryder and Shane stayed put, barking orders as their men rushed Zoe all at once.
To spur them on, Ryder barked, "Whoever brings this woman in alive today gets ten percent of her selling price—all for himself!"
Money talked. These men were living hand to mouth, so the moment cash was up for grabs, they pushed and shoved to be the first in line.
Zoe gestured for Shawn to step back.
"I'll be waiting outside," Shawn said. Trusting Zoe completely, he stepped back without hesitation.
Zoe flashed Shawn an OK sign.
Just then, the mob surged toward her and closed in on her from all sides.
Blows rained down as bodies crumpled one after another. Within mere seconds, over a dozen thugs lay sprawled across the ground, utterly defeated.
Like a phantom, Zoe materialized right in front of the two bosses.
Ryder stood frozen, utterly speechless. For the first time, a flicker of genuine fear flashed in Shane's eyes. He had always thrown his weight around, but today, he'd finally met his match.
With both hands flying, Zoe unleashed a barrage of brutal slaps—dozens in rapid succession—knocking out both bosses' back teeth.
Ryder clutched his face, too stunned to speak. Shane, seething with rage, swung a wild fist at Zoe.
With a sickening crack, Shane's arm snapped. He screamed, eyes wide with terror. "Monster! You're a monster..."
Zoe looked at Shane and sneered coldly.

And she said, "Told you so! I warned you they weren't to be messed with, but you wouldn't listen. Now look at you—serves you right. You totally had this coming."
The woman drew her dagger and, seizing the moment while they were completely defenseless, coldly finished off every last one of them.
