"Ms. Carleton, may we both get what we deserve," Sophia said before hanging up.
In fact, she was just nearby, unrecognizable under heavy makeup. She slipped into the venue ahead of Aileen—today, she was going to watch Zoe make a fool of herself in front of everyone.

After settling into her seat, she turned to Harry and asked, "Could you point out where the Clusia delegation is?"
Harry pointed across the arena. Shawn and Zoe were there, and their viewing box was directly opposite Aileen's.

After the waiter set the plates down, Harry grinned widely and personally passed a glass to Zoe. "These are our signature couple's cocktails. You two have such great chemistry—sharing these should deepen your connection even more."
Zoe sensed that something was wrong but kept her poker face intact.
Shawn picked up the other glass.
