*LUCA POV*
"Mmmm,"
I audibly groaned as my ears finally stopped ringing and something moist touched my face. My head was pounding and the bright light on my eyelids made it so I didn't even want to open my eyes.
The last thing I remember, I was sitting in that Mari guy's office before I drifted off, which was rude of me considering I don't even remember being that tired.
I patted my arms around and the moist feeling came back along with something soft and fluffy. I was lying down on something soft, the light was bright, the air smelled kind of salty, and I could hear water in the distance.
All these things meant I was not in the same place where I fell asleep.
I finally opened my eyes and came face to face with my best friend.
"Good morning Cooper," I groaned as his wet little nose nudged mine while he stood over my chest. He whimpers a little before licking my face again and I run my fingers through his soft golden fur.
"I'm okay buddy, shh don't worry," I told him and he rested his head on my chest, laying his whole body on my chest, rising and falling with my every breath. When he got down is when I realized I was definitely not in the same place considering I was now lying down on a bed with this breathtaking view of the turquoise ocean.
Cooper wagged his tail as I continued raking my hands through his fur as I tried to gather my bearings. I wasn't even in the same clothing that I came here in. Now wearing a soft pink t-shirt and tan cargo shorts.
"What the fuck?" I heard a small groan come from beside me and I turned my head, so distracted by the ocean that I didn't notice one of my lovers lying next to me.
Matthias was almost glowing in the soft light coming in from the nonexistent wall that led out to a balcony looking over the beautiful sea as he laid beside me in a soft golden jumpsuit with a matching cape that went over his bare shoulders.
Again, something he would never in a million years wear or even think of wearing because of how much his baby bump shows.
I roll Coop off my chest and shift on top of Matthias, resting on his lap as I supported myself with my hands next to his beautiful sleeping face. I never knew that Matthias also had little brown freckles scattered on his cheeks, nearly invisible unless you were hovering super close.
He suddenly opened his eyes with a fright and went to sit up, smashing his forehead into mine as he did so, sending my pounding head into a blinding migraine.
"AHH! FUCK!" Matthias and I both cursed out as he held his swollen forehead and I had tears in my eyes from how badly it fucking hurt right now. Wincing in pain as I held my own forehead.
"Why were you so close!" He shouted at me and I groaned.
"Cause I couldn't resist!" I shouted back and he kicked me.
"Why?!" He huffed and I laid frozen in place with my eyes squeezed shut as I tried to rub the pain away.
"Because you're so beautiful you big idiot!" I called back and curled up into a small ball. My head now throbbing and I felt like I was definitely going to end up with a bump of some sort. I felt his lips press against my cheek as he pecked me lightly instead of kicking me again, rubbing his hand on my upper arm as he let out a small sigh.
"Where are we?" I asked him and he looked around the room before shrugging.
"I have no fucking clue. This place doesn't even look familiar to me, but then again I haven't been on the island since I was thirteen and Bridgeport is updating so fast that I'm not surprised if everything is new to me too," He explained as he sat up and looked around a bit.
"But more importantly, what the fuck am I wearing?" He asked as he looked down and ran his hand over the round little-contained bump on his stomach where our babies were no longer hiding.
"I don't know but you should wear stuff like that more often, you look hot," I confessed and he smacked the back of my head, sending a shockwave of pain through my poor brain all over again.
"Stop abusing me! I'm going to get a concussion!" I yelled at him and he rolled his eyes before resting his chin on my shoulder.
"Hon?" He called out to me as he gripped my shoulder and I loosened up a bit.
"Yeah?"
"Where's Thomas?"
Now all the air left my body as both of us slowly shifted out bodies up and looked around the room but Thomas was nowhere to be found.
"Do you think he woke up before us?" I whispered and Matthias gulped.
"I sure hope so," He said back, until a loud grumble cut the silence between us, I looked back at him and he rubbed his belly.
"Are you hungry? At a time like this?" I scolded him and he pushed himself off the bed.
"Dude, I've got five mouths to feed. I'm so hungry I might eat whoever took Thomas," He said and I rolled out of bed, standing up and walking over to what seemed like the door leading out and pushing the doorknob.
I hold my hand out, blocking Matthias from leaving as I poked my head out in an effort to protect him but he scooted underneath my arm and walked into the hallway without me.
"Relax Luca, no one's going to hurt us here. It's a criminal offense to touch a Grayson against their permission unless you're a Grayson," He says starts opening doors. The first one being an empty closet.
"Why does the fact it had to be your family who kidnapped us not make me feel any better?" I asked him, my voice squeaking a bit as I opened the next door to a second bedroom that was empty.
"I don't know Luca, us Graysons are sketchy sons of bitches...Thomas!" Matthias was now at the end of the hallway and I quickly joined him, peeking over his shoulder the missing piece of our hearts to find him in a similar position. Fast asleep and wearing an outfit nearly identical to mine except his shirt was a deep purple in color.
"Thomas?" I gasped and we both slowly walked into the room, that was until Matthias stopped dead in his tracks.
"What? What's wrong?" I asked him as Thomas slept in front of us.
"Luca...which one of these things doesn't belong," Matthias harshly whispers back to me and I examined the room. It was just as pretty as the one we woke up in with nearly identical views.
"No, with Thomas," Matty grips my chin and points it to our fiance as he slowly opens his eyes, waking up and stretching his arms.
When I saw it, I clapped my hand over my mouth to keep from screaming, Thomas' eyes slowly waking up as he looked straight ahead, still unaware of our presence until he looked down and saw what we saw.
He was wiggling his toes.
His toes.
Our man had legs.
