                    Luca POV
[Going back to 1 month after arriving on Bridgeport]
"Let's go super Cooper!"
Matthias calls out as he jogs just beyond the cusp of the soft ocean foam with Cooper excitedly leaping and flying through the air like the golden ball of endless energy that he is. Thomas runs just ahead of him, laughing at Cooper as he looks like a swordfish leaping between the sand and the water, still unsure of how he feels about it.
The sun was just making its way above the horizon as we jogged back to the place where we were staying and slowly making our home. Since Thomas and Matthias were on break from NTB it was nice to have them so close 24/7 and we had gotten even closer than we thought previously possible.
We had gotten ourselves into a nice morning routine of waking up just before sunrise and starting the day with a jog before Jaydean woke up. Often leaving her home fast asleep with just Houston was enough security to give us peace of mind. The house was one of five on a private road which was shared by Matthias' cousins so if anything were to happen she could just walk next door.
We liked to have our run coincide with the sunrise as we jogged the beach and once we got home we all had at least three hours together before Jayde woke up to start her homeschooling.
But this morning was different, not only because Jayde wasn't doing her homeschooling or the fact that we started our jog a little late because Matthias and I were fooling around while Thomas went out to get some last minute things, or that we were cutting the jog short to save our energy for the rest of the day ahead of us.
It was different because today was my wedding day.
Realizing this, my jog turned to a slow walk and I stopped completely as I watched my fiance's go on without me. Thomas smiling with every step he took on his new legs, happier and stronger than he had ever been before. Matthias getting an unwanted kiss from Cooper as my pup lept up from the ocean and attacked him with his sea of love. Matthias and Thomas both looked like they were almost glowing from the sparkling sunrise and if I could capture this singular moment of happiness forever, I would.
Matthias looks back first, realizing I had stopped and his smile slowly disappears.
"Hey, are you okay hon?" He asks as I rejoin them, laughing softly as I do so.
"Yeah, I'm fine," I told them but Thomas didn't seem convinced as he scratched the back of his head.
"Are you having second thoughts?" He asked and I froze in place, wondering how he could even think such a thing.
I chalked it up to nerves as I gently kissed his confused smirk and kissed Matthias' soft glowing smile. Now that I think about it, the glow is probably from the babies and not me but he's still so beautiful nonetheless.
"No, I just want you to know I love you, that's all," I shrugged and continued jogging alongside them.
"Well I would hope you loved us, today would kind of suck if you didn't," Matthias mentions as the perfect white sand rises and falls beneath our feet.
"Are you ready for today?" Thomas asked me as we turned the bend and found our house just a few feet away.
"I'm as ready as I'll ever be," I told him and burst into a full out sprint, faster than the two of them as the warm air filled my lungs, the ocean gently lapped at my sneakers, and the breeze flowing through my hair as I took a little leap due to my uncontainable joy as I hopped onto the back porch.
I wanted to run straight into the house and my body aimed for it at max speeds, but next thing I knew there was a loud bang and I was one the floor staring at the deep blue sky with roaring laughter coming from behinds me.
I closed my eyes out of sheer embarrassment, knowing I had just run into the stupid clear glass door that made up the side of the house.
"Bloody fucking hell,"
I moaned as I held my face in my hands, feeling Cooper's tongue lapping my cheeks to check and see if I was okay. The heat from two pairs of shoes were beside my head and I slowly opened my eyes to peek out between my fingers at my two future husbands who were currently trying to hold back their laughter.
"Oh honey..."
"Shut up!"
I groaned and chuckled a bit myself, feeling like my knee was throbbing at it went into the window first. Matthias squatted down beside my head and brushed my hands away with a soft smile.
"It was a really cute fail though," he giggles, ruffling my hair while Thomas actually opens the door and walks in with Coop trotting alongside him.
When I finally reassembled my dignity, I got off the floor and walked into the guest bedroom to take a quick shower. The three of us separating ourselves in the six-bedroom mansion because whenever we showered together things got intense and before we knew it we were taking a second shower and passing out from exhaustion for a few hours. But we didn't have time for that today.
After ten minutes of washing up, I stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around my waist. Deciding to take it slow this morning and step out onto the balcony connected to the guest room to dry off with the ocean breeze.
I leaned against the railing and closed my eyes, now with the sun completely up it radiated its warmth to my body and I soaked it in. But the breeze brought in a seconds smell, the smell of musky butterflies and cinnamon that got my attention as I turned my head to see Matthias doing the same, resting his head in his hands as he rubbed his temples. I bounced off the railing and joined him, slowly wrapping my arms around his waist and growing tummy. In a month or two I might not be able to wrap my arms all the way around him anymore.
"Hey beautiful," I gently whispered in his ear as I nudged my nose against his neck and took in that sweet enticing scent that drove me crazy because it was his.
"Mmm, You know we have to wait until later," He shivers as I kissed that sensitive little nook where his pale neck meets his shoulder right on the small bruise I created the night before.
"Then why are you out here tempting me?" I groaned as I ran my lips from the base of his neck to behind his ear and he let out a small uncontrollable whimper. I could tell he was fighting his instincts so hard and it was kind of cute to see him struggle.
"Because I was just out here, minding my own damn business when I was attacked by my horny demon for a bride like God damn. Aren't you still sore from last night?" Matthias tried to avert my attention and I chuckled a bit.
"I am, but I could never get enough of you two," I sighed and decided to leave him alone, knowing he was right.
"Fine, I'm going to go make breakfast then...in just.my.shorts," I winked and he smacked my chest.
"You're such a...I don't even have the words to describe you, go away!" He huffed, blushing heavily from my attack as I turned back into the guest room where my shorts were laying on the bed waiting for me.
