The next day
Jungkook's POV
I kissed Jisoo yesterday, earning gasps from everyone. My eyes can't help but look at Jimin. I looked into his eyes and found an expressionless look. Something twinges in my heart that made me conclude it's really over. I smiled a bit at him and he just turned his gaze to Taehyung. When I look at Taehyung, he's giving me a blank face again. I don't know what's with him. Earlier, he's being guilty, but now, I don't even know why. I'm feeling weird by those stares so I made the first to move to look away. Instead, I gave my attention to my son who's so lively again. Remembering what happened yesterday is giving me a headache.
"Daddy, are you okay now? Mommy already kissed you." Min Joon's been smiling from ear to ear since morning. He keeps on snuggling into my arms while Jisoo is still beside me, just smiling at us.
"Of course, baby. I'm okay now. Don't worry now, okay?" I managed to pinch his squishy cheeks, just like Jimin. Aishh. Stop thinking about him already, Jungkook.
"Yay! Mommy, it's really true. Kisses are the best medicine." He claps his hand while jumping off the bed and running all over the room. When he was about to trip, thank God Jimin arrived along with the others and caught him beforehand.
"Min Joon, you should be careful, okay? You almost trip yourself." Jimin put his right hand and shake Min Joon's hair.
"Thank you, uncle Jimin." He smiled and reach out for Jimin to kiss him. Jimin leaned to my son's height then he let Min Joon kiss him.
"Aww. You're so sweet." Now, it's his turn to kiss Min Joon's cheeks. I can't help but smile. Atleast just by this, I can admire him.
The door suddenly opened and revealed Dr. Lee.
"Mr. Jeon let me check on you, okay?" He did some observations to me. He's writing something on the papers he's holding. I decided to ask him if I could go home already.
"Dr. Lee, can I go home now? I think I'm okay now." I said, catching his attention. He looked at me and smiled.
"Hmm. Everything's quite normal. So yes, you can go home now. But I have to suggest that you shouldn't engage to any stressful activities yet. When you go home, take your time to rest fully because you might faint again, okay? The nurse will give you some paper that you need to sign for your discharge. If you have some questions, you can ask the nurse station. I'll go now. Rest more, Mr. Jeon." He smiled, leaving us.
"Yay! Daddy's going home!" Min Joon exclaimed while jumping and clapping his hands. Everyone gigled at his cuteness.
Then, a nurse came in and handed me a paper. I signed it meaning that I can go home now. Finally, I'll be free from the hospital's bad vibes.
The others went back first. Jimin suggested to drive for us since I'm still weak. I looked at Jisoo and she nodded. Jisoo packed my things and after that, the four of us went together to the parking area. By the way, the car we're getting on is Jimin's.
Me, Jisoo and Min Joon were about to sit in the back when he spoke.
"Ya. I look like a family driver. Can you perhaps, sit on the passenger's seat, Jungkook?" I looked at Jisoo and she smiled. Why is she agreeing to everything now? I went my way to the passenger's seat. While we're on our way back to Bang PD-nim's beach house, I took the opportunity to look at him and saw him being so serious while driving. He really has an angelic face. Aishh. What am I doing? I already decided to stop loving him, right? So, I just looked through the window and enjoyed the view the whole trip.
When we arrived, I settled in our room and sleep for a bit since it's afternoon. After almost 3hours, I woke up and found out it's already dark. Jisoo suddenly went inside to tell me it's time to eat dinner and that everyone's in the dining area already. I carefully went there. When I was about to sit, I kissed Jisoo first. It's time to be a good husband to her now so I could completely forget about Jimin. I sat beside her and all of us happily ate together while having some conversation.
Namjoon suggested to have some chill time again at the shore. Since I just got discharged, I decided not to have some hard drinks. The girls went to sleep first including Jisoo and Min Joon.
"Do you remember our trainee days? We all looked like innocent kids but now look at us. A lot of things has changed, right?" Namjoon started.
"I can always remember how I tried my best to dance. I mean I signed up for rapping but I can't believe I have to do dancing, too." He added, laughing. Same goes everyone.
"Yeah, do you remember when you almost destroy everything in our dorm? You really are the 'God of Destruction'." Hoseok said jokingly. Yes, no one can ever forget about that.
"YA! You want some of this?!" Namjoon threatened showing his small biceps, but then fell into laughing, too.
"I miss those old times. Really. We practice so hard to always give good performances and I'm happy that ARMY appreciate them all. There's Jimin and Jungkook who always stayed up all night together just to practice more. What hard working guys you were. During those times, I really respect both of you because of your passion and dedication." Hoseok added. I suddenly felt awkward, remembering those moments. We had our first kiss from one of those. I looked at Jimin, seeing him drank his beer all the way down. He feels awkward, too. Who wouldn't be anyway when someone suddenly brings up the past? I just bowed my head while I drink my apple juice.
"Uhmm...I have to pee." Jimin said while getting up and grab another bottle. My brows furrowed. He shouldn't drink so much because he has a low alcohol tolerance. Few minutes have passed but he still haven't come back yet. I'm getting worried now. So, I stood up, leaving them. I went to the wash room and found no sign of Jimin. I went to the house and still no sign. I suddenly thought maybe he went to the rocks again. And, I was right. He's there. As I get closer, I heard little screams.
"Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stop it!" Jimin screaming to himself while he's grabbing his hair.
"Jimin?" I called out, making him look at me. I can see that he was shocked. Huh?
"What are you doing here, Jimin? Let's go back inside." I told him but he ignored me and looked at the ocean instead.
"I don't want the atmosphere there. It's suffocating me." Jimin answered that made me really confused.
"Okay, but I'll stay with you here. You know you shouldn't drink so much, right? You easily get drunk."
"Yeah. But, let me be just this once." I didn't say anything more as I watch him slowly drink his beer. Why is he drinking so much anyway? What's his problem?
After he finished his beer, he tried to get up, but he went out of balance. I quickly grabbed him by his waist, preventing him to fall. My eyes went to his as my heart beats faster because of fear that he almost got hurt. We stared at each other for a few seconds, and I'm mesmerized once again by his beautiful eyes. And, what he did next made my eyes grow wide.
He kissed me.
