HE's POV
That was close. I sat down, trying to control my breath. The door suddenly opened and I quickly looked at it.
"I saw you running so I followed you. What's wrong?" My friend asked me, going to his swivel chair.
"I think I bumped into them. Glad I stayed looking down." I sighed in relief.
"What? How?" He's giving me a confusing look.
"I was checking on Jungkook from the window of his room then I suddenly got frustrated so I just left and then I bumped into someone. Then I heard Mark's voice so I panicked. I really hope he didn't recognize me." I kept on shaking my head. I almost got caught.
"Well, if you say you kept your head on the ground, then you're good. They won't suspect. Don't worry." He said. Well, he's quite right. I mean it's already years since we last saw each other so he won't recognize me easily.
"Yeah. But wait, when can I literally visit Jungkook?! You said you'll help me!" I suddenly got frustrated again.
"Relax. Just endure a little bit more. They are now being careful because of what you did to Jimin. Of course, they'll be with him and Jimin at all times. So it'll be quite hard to pay him a visit now. You understand me, right?" He said that made me annoyed.
"Aishh! I hope that Jimin dies already. He's really a hindrance for me to see Jungkook." I rolled my eyes at him and just leaned back on my chair.
Third Person's POV
"Come on, let's go back to Jungkook's room. He might have woke up at this moment." Yoongi said when Jimin's parents entered the room.
"Mr. And Mrs. Park, if you'll excuse us, we'll go back to Jungkook." Taehyung politely said.
"Yeah, of course. Thanks for visiting our son. It means a lot to us." Mr. Park said to the kids. The others bowed to the older and left the room.
Hoseok who was cuddling with his boyfriend, suddenly bumped into someone. Everyone then stopped because Hoseok almost fell to the ground. Gladly, Mark got him before it even happens. Mark became furious.
"Watch where you're going." He looked at this guy with anger in his eyes. But this guy didn't even respond. What made him even more annoyed is instead of saying sorry, this guy in red just ran off. He was about to follow that guy and teach him a lesson but Hoseok stopped him.
"Baby, it's okay. I'm not hurt." He then went calm seeing his boyfriend's pretty eyes.
"Okay." He kissed Hoseok's forehead and wrapped his arms around his shoulders. Then they continued going to Jungkook's room.
Yoongi who was holding Lisa's hands opened the door for the others.
"Oh Jungkook, you're finally awake." He said. Jungkook then looked at them and showed a force smile.
"Are you now okay, Jungkook-ssi?" Dahyun said, Taehyung on her side.
"Y-Yeah I'm okay. Don't worry." He tried his best to give them a sincere smile. The others then smiled back at him.
Suddenly, the door opened and revealed two doctors.
"Dr. Han, can I visit a..uhmm...a friend?" Jungkook rapidly asked, earning a gigle from his doctor.
"Mr. Jeon, let me just do my observations first, hmm?" Dr. Han checked everything, Jungkook's dextrose and bandages. Jungkook just scratched her head.
"Okay, I'm sorry." Jungkook said. Five minutes passed.
"So, Mr.Jeon, what did you ask me again?" Dr. Han adjusted his eyeglasses as he smiles at Jungkook.
"Uhmm, can I visit a friend here? He's also hospitalized." Jungkook frowned when he realized that Jimin is not just hospitalized but also in critical condition.
"Oh of course but you have to use a wheelchair so your leg will not be overworked. You need to take an extra care so you'll heal up sooner, Mr. Jeon." Dr. Han said while recording on the file he was holding.
"I will tell the nurse to bring you a wheelchair." He added. Hearing this made Jungkook's heart jump in joy. Finally, he can visit Jimin. Then his eyes fell on the other doctor.
'Wait...He's familiar.' Jungkook thought to himself while he tilt his head from the side.
"Uhhmm, have we met before?" He asked the doctor that made the latter nervous.
"Oh, Mr. Jeon, this is Dr. Choi and I believe he is the attending doctor of the guy who was also brought here with you." Dr. Han answered instead.
"Y-Yeah. Maybe you saw me around here, Mr. Jeon." Dr. Choi answered, stuttering. He almost slap himself for being so obvious. He is also shaking because he can see Mark staring at him from his peripheral vision.
Jungkook just shrugged and leaned back.
"We have to go now. We still have a meeting to attend to. Mr. Jeon, remember what I said. Don't overwork your leg yet, okay?" Jungkook just nodded and then the two doctors left.
Jungkook is now lost in his own thoughts because of both sadness and excitement he's feeling right now. He closed his eyes first and smiled a little as he can't wait to see Jimin.
"Uhmm baby, I'll just go to the comfort room." Mark told Hoseok.
"Okay." Hoseok smiled and kissed his cheeks. Mark then left after.
Meanwhile, a nurse entered with a wheelchair. That made Jungkook so happy.
"Sir, here's your wheelchair. Should I assist you, sir?" The nurse asked.
"No no. I can handle it. My wife will do that for me." Jungkook smiled that made Jisoo shook.
"Okay, sir. If you need help, you can find me in the nurse station." Jungkook nodded. The nurse then lifted Jungkook and placed him on the wheelchair, his dextrose hanging on his side. After that, the nurse left.
"Jisoo, can you help me with this?" He asked her. But then, Min Joon woke up.
"Daddy! You're awake!" He quickly ran to his dad and hugged him that made Jungkook groan in pain.
"Min Joon, careful." Jisoo reminded her son.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Daddy." Min Joon smiled sweetly. Jungkook pinched his cheeks.
"Uhmm baby, I'll just visit uncle Jimin, alright?" He said.
"Okay, I'll come with you, Daddy." Jungkook looked at Jisoo.
"O-Oh okay. Let's go." He said while patting Min Joon's head.
"Uhmm, I have to go somewhere. Jin oppa, can you take Jungkook instead?" Jisoo revealed.
"Yeah sure. Let's go." Jin agreed and then guided Jungkook outside with Min Joon. Then, everyone parted ways and said 'goodbyes' to each other as they need some proper rest, too.
Along the way, Jungkook's heart kept on beating fast as questions kept on haunting him. What would he react when he sees Jimin on the bed unconscious?
"Jungkook, are you okay? We can go back if you're not ready to see him in that state." Jin stopped from pushing Jungkook's wheelchair.
"No, hyung. Let's go." Jin just did what he was told and continued on bringing Jungkook to Jimin's room.

Mark who went outside followed his old friend. He can't be wrong.
He waited outside the conference room where the meeting of the doctors are being held. He quietly hid at the corner of the hallway.
After 30 minutes, doctors started to come out of the room while smiling and laughing. He waited for this particular doctor. The last two doctors came out. Mark's eyes widened as he have found who he was looking for. He quietly followed the two.
"I'll go first, Dr. Choi." The two doctors parted ways as Mark still followed his friend. The doctor was so busy checking his phone, that he didn't notice someone is following him. When he reached his office, he turned the knob and entered.
Mark who can't wait anymore walked towards the door. He breathed for awhile before he opened it.
"Ya, I think Jungkook recogni-..." Dr. Choi didn't complete what he was about to say to his friend who is still sitting on the seat when the door suddenly opened.
"Ya! Why are you here? I thought you are based in Daegu." Mark suddenly spoke, not noticing there is another person in the office.
The doctor's eyes widened because of the sudden intrusion. HE turned around and HIS face went pale seeing Mark unexpectedly. But then, HIS shocked face turned into a smirk.
"Y-You...H-How...?" Mark stuttered, can't believe who he just saw. The blood drained all over his body.
"Hello, Mark. Long time no see, my friend."
