Third Person's POV
"To summarize it all, he is consciously unconscious. He's aware but his body is paralyzed. I was checking his eye movement earlier but I noticed he is not responding. His eyes are not moving at all though I'm flashing the light on his eyes. This condition is like sleep paralysis but worse. I have used Glasgow come scale on him to assess the amount of risk of what is happening right now with him. To tell you honestly, the result is not of any good. I have to inform you that he will open his eyes from time to time. He might hear you but he can't respond so try to talk to him or tell him stories. It might help him feel your presence. I will monitor him everytime. Let's hope he could wake up sooner and for his fast recovery." The doctor informed before he left. Everyone gasped at this sad news. His mother almost fainted. Gladly, Namjoon was there to catch her. She cried hard and fell on her knees as Namjoon's still holding her.
"My baby! My Jimin!" She exclaimed. The others can't take witnessing everything. They tried their best, especially the girls, to handle their sobs because it is also breaking all of them. Jimin is a good guy. They believe that he don't deserve to be suffering like this.
On the other hand, Hee Yeon can't be more broken inside, especially knowing that the man she loves is in this situation. She covered her mouth as tears filled her eyes. Her vision became blurry. Jin noticed that so even though he's not feeling any better,too, he walked towards the crying girl and pulled her into a hug. Hee Yeon can't take it anymore so she breaks down in his embrace. This is what she needs, to have someone comfort her.
"There. There. Release it. You can cry your heart out. Let it out." Jin muttered. He was also crying. He can't stop thinking, Why is this happening to all of them? What did Jimin ever do wrong to suffer like this?
Mark hugged Hoseok who is most likely to break down also. His conscience is slowly bothering him. He wanted to slap himself for letting his friend manipulate him. He just don't know what to do. He don't want to lose Hoseok but he's feeling guilty. He loves him too much to do that.
Taehyung is not feeling any better also. Seeing his bestfriend like this is breaking him so much. He bowed his head, trying to stop crying but it didn't help. Dahyun held his face but he didn't look at her.
"Baby, please don't cry, hmm? He will be okay. Just trust God." She's crying also. She slowly wrapped her hands around his neck and pulled him into a comforting hug. She can't take seeing her boyfriend holding his tears. At that moment, Taehyung bursted in tears and buried his head on her shoulders.
Loud sobs filled the hallway. Then, Yoongi spoke up.
"Guys, let's be strong. For Jimin. He needs us. Don't let this sad news ruin us. Jimin will be okay. Please control yourself from thinking of any negative thoughts, okay? Just as the doctor said, we have to try to talk to him and tell him stories. In that way, he could hear us and he will know we are all here waiting for him." He spoke that made the others stop for a moment. He's right. They should not let this sad news ruin their positive vibes. They have to be strong. They have to remind Jimin that they are all here for him. Jimin's mother's spirit is lifted at what she heard from the younger. She immediately stood up and wiped her tears away as Namjoon supported her. She slowly walked to Yoongi.
"Thank you, dear." She said before she hugged the boy.
"He's right, kids. We have to be strong. Jimin's gonna be okay." She said right away after she hugged Yoongi. Jihyun then walked towards his mother and wrapped his arm around her shoulders. She smiled to everyone before they went inside Jimin's room.
"Now what should we do? Should we tell this to Jungkook?" Namjoon said, making the others look at him. Everyone eventually was bothered by what he suddenly asked.
"No. He will be more devastated if he hears about this." Jin said, still beside Hee Yeon.
"No. You will not do that to him anymore." Jisoo blurted out.
"Jisoo, he's still not okay. He-..." Jin didn't finish his sentence because Jisoo interrupted him.
"You all should stop! Can you just think properly for a moment?! If you keep on doing this, he will hate you. Do you really want that to happen instead?! That he will despise all of you?? You want the best for him but what you're doing right now is not any better. Yes, he's still not okay but he deserves to know everything. Stop treating him like a kid. You are just making him feel worse." Jisoo exploded as tears flow down from her face. Anger is filling her heart right now.
"Jisoo, you're his w-wife..." Jin reasoned out.
"Can you just be open-minded for a bit and listen to me, Jin? I respect you so much because you used to take care of him. But, please stop acting like a parent to him. Act as a real friend. Don't be stupid. This is also hurting me but if it's for the better, I'm willing to be the one hurt instead. If you'll keep on insisting this, then you're not a real friend at all." She said before she left with tears flowing down her face. The others were taken aback by the words that came out from Jisoo's mouth.
"Jisoo is right. Jungkook is not a kid anymore. He can handle this." Yoongi said after a moment of silence.
"Yoongi. You know he's weak when it comes to Jimin." Jin reasoned out.
"Jin, just think and open your mind. If we keep on treating him like this, will he be any better? No, right? He will only despise all of us and I can't let that happen. He deserves to know. Just please try to understand everything, hyung." He explained to Jin.
"You all don't understand me at all!" Jin yelled before he walked away with tears that made everyone suprised.
"I will talk to him." Namjoon left them and followed Jin. He grabbed Jin's wrist when he caught up.
"Baby, where are you going?" He asked. Jin who can't take it anymore, hugged Namjoon.
"T-They d-don't understand m-me..." He said between sobs.
"Shhh...shh..." Namjoon moved his hand in circular motions on Jin's back. He's hoping his husband will feel better. Once he knew Jin calmed down a bit, he guided Jin to sit down on a bench. He held his hands tight and looked into Jin's eyes which made the latter confused.
"Baby, listen to me, okay? I know you wanted the best for Jungkook. You have witnessed his downfall when he hurt Jimin. You know better than everyone how much Jungkook regretted that so much. I know it broke you from the inside. I was, too. You have taken care of him since our trainee days. And, I clearly understand what you are feeling right now. You don't like to see him hurt again, right?" Jin nodded on what he said.
"But this is not helping him, baby. Did you remember what he said? That we are making him feel worse? If we keep on doing this, he will always be reminded of what he has done before. We're going to keep on making him feel undeserving and useless which are clearly not true. We can't stop him from thinking like that. It's been the deepest scar in his heart. But, he's a grown up now. He is not the same kid anymore that you used to take care, baby. And we both know he can handle things now. Even heartbreaks and failures. That is part of life. Yes, Jimin is his weakness but I know he will not let this weaken him. I know he will choose to be strong and fight for Jimin. Trust me. It might hurt him at first but he knows what to do. And that is to be stronger than anyone. We have to let him feel we're on his side. The right thing we could do now is to be there for him and support him." Namjoon explained to Jin. He's mentally praying that Jin would absorb everything he just said. He looked at Jin's eyes with full of love. Jin, on the other hand, slowly understand everything. He hugged his husband and cried again.
"You're right, baby. I'm sorry for being so stubborn. I didn't realize I was hurting him a-already. I'm really s-sorry." Jin managed to say between sobs.
"Shh...I'm not the one who you should say sorry to, baby. It's Jungkook." Namjoon said, hugging Jin tightly. Jin burst in tears and nodded. He now can understand what Jungkook must be feeling right now. That, he should be there for Jungkook and support him, not against the younger.
