Jin's POV
Flashback
Jungkook is the closest to my heart after Namjoon. When we were still trainees, there is just the urge of taking care of him. I always felt he's my little brother. From the very start, he was so far from his confident personality now. Before, he was so shy, so intimated and so introvert. We hardly talked to him because he was always so distant from us. As the eldest, I wanted to break the wall. We can't become a real team so I tried to reach to him. I don't know how I did it but I successfully got close to him. He started opening up to me.
Days passed when I started noticing the way he looks at Jimin. It was the look of love. I knew it because that's how I used to look at Namjoon before. Even when we're practicing, I saw him stealing glances at Jimin who's so dedicated to practicing. I even noticed also that he walks away whenever one of us tried to tease and play with Jimin. He would always go to his room with a loud bang on the door or even punch on random things or suddenly curses. That's when I confirmed he's into Jimin.
I tried to talk to him about his feelings, but he would always change the topic into something funny he just watched or talk about Iron Man or would reason he has something else to do. Everytime it happens, I always laughed at him internally. He's really such a cute dork. Well, I always knew Jimin likes him back because Jimin would always come to me for advices about his feelings for Jungkook.
He always asked me, "Hyung, am I weird for falling for a guy like me? Should I stop this feelings from growing deeper? What if Jungkook doesn't like me back? What if I'm gonna ruin our friendship just because of this?"
As the one who is witnessing everything, I tried to help them be together. I talked to them separately. And in between, I would always suggest them to just confess right away or be sorry later. But Jimin as the sweetest member, he will always reason that he doesn't want to ruin their friendship, that he doesn't want to disappoint the others, especially our fans, if they were to find out about his sexuality and about his feelings for Jungkook. He thought fans would hate him for loving the maknae who is much loved by many. So, he tried to make his feelings go away by getting close to the other members, especially Taehyung, his bestfriend. He believed it's the fastest way.
There comes multiple times when the '95 duo became so flirty and touchy, or I must say Jimin's the one making the first move. I found it disturbing, too, just like the other members. I would always look at Namjoon and then at Jungkook. What response I got from our maknae is eyes full of anger and jealousy. Though I know Taehyung don't have any idea to what's happening, I confronted him. I asked him if he have any feelings for Jimin but he just answered,
"Of course not, hyung. Jimin is my bestfriend. We're just close. Why do you even think of that, hyung?"
"It's just so disturbing because you two are too touchy for bestfriends, don't you think?" I can't help but ask.
"Wait, are you talking about Jungkook?" I was really surprised when he asked me this question. I didn't know that I unknowingly nodded at him. I only realized it when he laughed out loud.
"I knew it. Those two are fucking in love with each other. Aishh. Such idiots." He added. I'm really shook that Taehyung noticed it, too.
"Hyung, don't you think we have to help them be together? It's seriously frustrating me seeing their childish acts. Tss." Taehyung blurted out that made me think for a moment. Yeah, it is kinda frustrating me, too. And that's when our secret mission started. That is to make Jungkook jealous. Taehyung continued to be so close to Jimin though he receives pure death glares from our maknae. I found everything a little bit amusing. Jungkook looked so cute when he's jealous. I would always smirk at him everytime he looks at me. When he can't take it anymore, he grabbed my hand and pulled me out of dorm until we reached the park. Out of the blue, he suddenly screamed. I slightly chuckled as I managed to sit down on the bench. Well, that was one hell of a tiring pulling act there. My hand hurts for Christ's sake.
"Are you making fun of me, hyung?!" He glared at me but I just raised an eyebrow.
"What are you talking about?" I acted like I don't know anything.
"Aishh!! Now you're frustrating me. I know you know what I mean!" He yelled but I just gave him a serious look.
"Aishh! Okay! Fine! I'm fucking in love with Jimin! Are you happy now?!" He started grabbing his hair harshly.
"Finally..." I let him heard my loud deep sigh. He just rolled his eyes on me but then he suddenly cried that made me worried.
"Hyung, what should I do now? It fucking hurts to see him so close to Taehyung. He clearly loves Tae." That made me soft.
"Aww, our cutie maknae. Are you sure of that? What if they're just close? Try to confess to him first before you think of anything."
"What if he doesn't like me back? I'm scared, hyung."
"You haven't confessed to him yet so why be scared? What if he likes you back? Just try, hmm? I promise it'll be worth it." He looked at me with questioning eyes so I just smiled back.
"Hyung, do you perhaps know anything?" He wiped his tears.
"Just trust me, Jungkook. Two days from now, it'll be his birthday. You should confess or be sorry later. It's now or never, Jungkook. I know he feels the same way for you."
And that is the last advice I ever gave him before he finally confessed to Jimin. Everyone's so happy when Jungkook finally confessed. It turns out that the others also noticed Jungkook's sudden change of behavior when it comes to Jimin. I was shocked at first but I'm happy knowing that they all also tried to make Jungkook jealous so he could finally admit his feelings. Since then, Jungkook and Jimin became the sweetest couple and we all supported them all the way. But when an unexpected thing happen, everything was ruined.
We received a random envelope on the doorsteps. There was no name on it as to who it came from. We just saw 'To Jungkook' on the top of it. Well, we didn't try to open it because we literally respect each other's privacy. Jungkook and Jimin were on a date that time so when they came back home, I immediately gave it to Jungkook. The couple was so smiling all the way and giving each other pecks. But when Jungkook opened the envelope, his smiling face turned to a mad one right away. My brows furrowed at him. What he did next made me surprised. He punched the wall.
"Since when you started cheating on me?!" My eyes widened as Jimin's eyes, too.
"L-Love, what are you talking about? I would never cheat on you." Jimin held Jungkook's hands. I tried to calm Jungkook, too. But, he just slapped our hands away and laughed sarcastically while crying.
"Love...liste-..." Jimin called out but he was cutted when Jungkook suddenly threw the envelope with pictures I can't clearly see at Jimin.
"Are you fucking playing with me?! Then what are these?!" Jungkook said before he went wild, punching the wall again then left us with a bleeding fist. I quickly looked at Jimin who kneeled down to see what Jungkook just threw at him. My eyes eventually widened at what I saw. Then, he looked at me with confusing eyes.
"H-Hyung, I...these are..." He was looking at me while tears are flowing from his face. Then everyone came to us. They were surprised too, looking at what Jimin's holding.
"Hyung, I-I swear I don't k-know any of these. B-Believe me, h-hyung. I didn't e-even r-remember this h-happened." He said and started crying hard. Hiccups can be heard already between his sobs. By his actions, I know he really don't know any of this so I tried to comfort him.
The pictures were Taemin and Jimin in a bed with a blanket covering them. Their hairs are messed up and Jimin's collarbone is slightly visible, making it look like they just had sex. But, I believed Jimin would never do that. He loves Jungkook so much. He would not cheat on him. The others are with Jimin, too. They also believed Jimin would never do such a thing.
We tried to talk to Jungkook individually but he would never listen. After that incident, he hardly comes home or if ever he comes home, he's completely drunk. Jimin would always try to take care of him but ended up being shoved away or hurt by Jungkook instead. Jimin would always cry to me. I can't bear it anymore so I talked to Jungkook alone. I tried to bring back his senses by giving lots of reasons to why Jimin would never do such a thing to him. I clearly made it convincing that everything was just a lie, that those pictures were not true, that it was clearly a set-up to break them apart. I made sure he'll be convinced with everything I just said. I thought it will be better after that but I was wrong.
It was supposed to be their 3rd year anniversary celebration and Jimin was about to surprise Jungkook. But, what happened instead was unexpected. Jimin came to me while almost breaking down in pain and sadness. That's when I found out that Jisoo, who's one of those bitches who were after Jungkook, suddenly revealed that she got pregnant by Jungkook. And the worst part is when Jungkook confirmed it. My heart broke as I see Jimin hardly can breathe and fainted right away in my arms. I immediately brought him to the hospital. Of course, I told Jungkook about it, hoping he would feel guilty even the slightest thing. I wanted to confront him but I chose not to. I wanted to know everything but this is not yet the right time.
Few days passed. I was about to visit Jimin but found his room empty. I asked the nurse and he answered me that Jimin was discharged early that morning. He added that Jimin's parents were the ones who took him out. I thought he's fine now so I tried calling him but his phone's turned off.
Weeks passed. The others and I still tried a couple of times calling Jimin but got no response. We were waiting but he never came back to our dorm. Jungkook, on the other hand, became worse. He became a complete drunkard. We tried to stop him but he never listened to any of us. We were worried about his health. That's when I decided to confront Jungkook right on that moment.
