Hee Yeon's POV
I'm so relieved now, upon knowing that Jimin's operation was successful. I can't be happier that he's finally okay. Dr. Han informed us that Jimin could wake up anytime. It made all of us cry in happiness. But remembering whoever did this to him can still be out there, is still making everyone restless, especially his parents. Until now, we can't still find who HE is. We've been asking Jisoo like forever but she kept on denying that she knows HIM. I wanted to slap her to death. I wanted to slap the video, which will prove everything, to her face that she clearly knows HIM. I wanted to cry in frustration but I can't do anything. I just hope that the justice will be served soon. That whoever is behind this will pay for the things he caused.
My phone beeped. I looked at who it is and saw Taemin's sunbaenim.
From: Taemin oppa
Hee Yeon, we need to talk. Bo's cafe in 15 minutes.
To: Taemin oppa
Okay, sunbaenim.
I replied. I was in my parents' house, about to go to the hospital but I decided to meet him first, hoping that there's good news.
After a few minutes, I arrived at the meeting place, finding him beside the glass wall on the second floor.
"Taemin sunbaenim." I called out, making him turn around.
"Hee Yeon, come sit down." So I sat down, doing what I was told. Once I'm settled in my seat, I gave him a smile.
"Are you behaving nicely to her today?" Taemin smiled that made me rolled my eyes on him. Hearing something about her disgusts me.
"Aish, don't even mention her to me. Tell me, why can't I confront her?! We both know she knows something. She's acting all innocent on everything and that annoys me so much." My teeth is gritted while my fists are clenched. I just can't handle it when it comes to her.
"Relax, baby girl. Stop provoking her. She'll speak eventually. For the meantime we have to wait."
"Aish...so what are you gonna tell me?" I plainly asked. Well, I'm still annoyed. I must do something about her being so in denial wherein she is clearly guilty. Her whole self is screaming everything.
"We have found something useful. We saw a phrase from the boat they used. It was written in Chinese characters that means 'JK, my love'."
"JK, my love? What is that? JK? Is that like HIS shortened name?" I'm confused? JK? What does that even mean?
"I'm not sure but all I know is, the one behind this could be the same person who threatened me to not speak before. I never saw HIS face before but I'm sure HE is somewhat related to this. If my instincts are right, then we have a big fight going on." I saw him sighed deeply then sipped his coffee afterwards.
"Tell me what it is." My curious side is taking over me right now.
"I can't say anything right now until it's proven."
"Aishh. You're so unfair." I lightly slapped his arm that just made him laugh only.
"Stop it. I have to be sure, okay? Please understand me, hmm?" He placed his hands on mine, gripping them.
"Aishh, okay." I don't know why but I just blushed. Wth?
"U-Uhhmm. Namjoon oppa is on it also. I overheard that they have a strong evidence." I revealed, while I'm drinking the frappuccino he ordered for me.
"Oh really? Then, I must give him a call, don't you think?"
Third Person's POV
He woke up. Yes. You read right. Jimin just woke up.
"W-Where am I-I?" Jimin just opened his eyes while his parents are busily chatting with his younger brother. Once they heard a faint voice, they immediately jumped in joy when they saw Jimin woke up already. His eyes went to everything that is attached to him. He wanted to get up but he can't. He feels weak.
"Oh my God! My baby, you're awake! How are you feeling?" His mom burst out in tears seeing her son finally opened his eyes. On cue, his dad and brother rushed to his side and hugged him one by one.
"Hyung, how are you feeling? Do you feel any pain somewhere? Tell us." Jihyun, Jimin's brother, didn't hesitate and just cried along with their parents.
"Son, how are you now?" His dad added.
"Where am I?" Jimin repeated that made his family confused, stopping them from crying.
"Son, why are you asking this question? Didn't you remember what happened? You are in a hospital right now." His mom answered worriedly. She is somehow frightened from her son's strange behavior. She hoped that she's wrong about what she's thinking of right now. It can't be.
"Hospital? Huh? What did just happen to me that I'm here, in result?" Jimin tries to get up but he was stopped by his father.
"Son, you shouldn't move so much for now, okay? You just came from an operation." His dad explained but his mom is still confused.
"Jimin, baby, can't you really remember anything?" There's a big lump on her throat as these words came out from her mouth. She is sweating a lot, along with her tears.
"Hyung, you were shot while you were with your friends in Jeju. Can't you really remember anything?" His little brother is also confused. He can't believe what is happening right now.
"Call the doctor, Jihyun." Their dad commanded making him rush outside.
"Son..." His dad looked back at Jimin again while a tear escaped from his eyes.
"My friends? Who? Taemin & Sejun?" His parents' jaws dropped at what Jimin just said. They can't believe what their son is saying. Taemin and Sejun were his past childhood friends.
"Son, what do you mean? That was years ago already. Don't you remember your current friends? You were an idol group before. You were with them in Jeju before you are hospitalized." His mom tried to laugh but the result was an awkward one. She thought that maybe her son was just kidding around.
"Current friends? Huh? What do you mean, Mom? Aren't they Taemin hyung and Sejun?" Jimin's brows scrunched, looking very confused.
His dad was about to say something again when the door opened, revealing Dr. Han and Jihyun.
"Doctor, please tell me what I'm thinking is wrong, that this is not amnesia. Please tell me." His mom held the white coat of Dr. Han while she's crying. The doctor then consoled the crying lady while Jimin's dad is thinking of everything deeply.
"Mrs. Park, let me check on him first." Mrs. Park let go of Dr. Han's coat as he walked towards his patient.
"Hello, Jimin. Are you feeling okay right now?" Dr. Han gave a smile while he placed his right hand on Jimin's shoulder.
"I'm fine, doctor. But, can you tell me what just happened to me? Why am I in a hospital?"
"Jimin, you were shot and you just woke up from coma for over a month." Dr. Han adjusted his eyeglasses while he's carefully observing every Jimin's expressions.
"I-I was in a coma? H-How? And why am I shot?" Dr. Han eyed the trembling parents with an unknown expression. Jimin's family is slowly breaking from the unbelievable words that was coming out from their precious Jimin.
This time, his dad took over the explanation. Dr. Han stepped back so Mr. Park could do the explaining. His mom then approached beside her husband while Jihyun just leaned on the wall.
"Son, as we have said. You were shot in Jeju while you're playing treasure hunt with your current friends. We still haven't find whoever shot you. But thank God, you're okay now." His dad forced a smile though he's breaking down inside. He can't believe what's happening. Why did Jimin suddenly forget everything?
"Current friends? Who are they exactly?" Jimin plainly asked as the door opened again. His eyes darted to the beautiful girl who just entered.
"Don't you remember them? Jin? Namjoon? Taehyung?" Jimin's eyes are still fixed on the girl. He just shook his head, mentally answering that he don't know any of those names. On the other hand, the girl or Hee Yeon hugged Mrs. Park as she's quite confused. She still don't have any idea what's going on. After awhile, she walked towards Jimin and hugged the latter.
"Finally, you're awake now. I missed you so much, babe." She's crying already as she pulled her face away and kissed Jimin on near the corner of his lips. Jimin's eyes suddenly widened on what just happened. He covered his mouth right away that made Hee Yeon confused.
"Babe, what's wrong?" Hee Yeon looked at Jimin then to his parents, mentally asking what is going on right now. She suddenly felt nervous when Jimin's mom gave her a sad smile.
"Son, she's your fiancé, Ahn Hee Yeon. Don't you remember her?" His dad tried to make his son remember about his current life.
On the other hand, Hee Yeon went pale upon hearing that. No words came out from her mouth. She's mentally praying that she's wrong about amnesia.
"I have a fiancé? She is my fiancé?" Jimin blushed while he shyly looked at Hee Yeon. Well, Hee Yeon was more confused than anything. Why is Jimin like this? This moment is surely making her cry internally.
"U-Uhh, yes. I'm your fiancé, Jimin." She tried not to cry and held Jimin's hands that made the boy blushed again. His parents can't help but smile. But, they're still worried. They don't know what to do about it.
"Dr. Han, can you explain to us what is exactly happening right now?" Jihyun stepped up, asking this question as he bites his fingernails.
"I'm afraid that indeed, Jimin has amnesia. It's one of the worst effects to someone who just recovered from coma. I'm still not sure on what kind of amnesia he has, but I'll find out. I'm sorry, Mr. & Mrs. Park." Dr. Han was carefully observing everything and he concluded that how Jimin is behaving are indeed signs of a person suffering from an amnesia.
"Did he forget about everything? Including us?" Mrs. Park is scared of what the answer could be to her question.
"Let me check on that. Jimin..." Dr. Han walked beside Jimin's bed.
"Do you remember they're your parents?" Dr. Han pointed to where his parents are. Everyone was relieved when Jimin nodded.
"Can you tell us anything else you can remember?" Dr. Han added while giving a genuine smile.
"Well, aside from them. I know I'm in highschool. Taemin and Sejun are the only friends that I can remember. That's why I'm really confused when my mom said I'm in an idol group that I don't remember anything of." Jimin really looked like he has no idea. His mom covered her mouth, trying to suppress her sobs. She can't take seeing Jimin like this.
"Try to remember, son. Yoongi? Hoseok?" His dad tried again but Jimin just nodded 'no'.
"J-Jungkook?" Hee Yeon almost choked from her own saliva. Upon hearing the name, Jimin's eyes looked more confused.
"Jungkook? No. Who is he?"
