Four years later
He is standing there, so mesmerized by the sun rays that hit his skin. It's been months now since he last enjoyed the sunlight. The blue sky didn't fail to captivate his heart as he can't stop looking at it. His eyes are so lost in the beauty just above him. Birds fly everywhere, chirping in unison, which sounds like music to his ear. Not to mention the wind which gives a refreshing feeling to his soul as he closes his eyes to feel the air. His lips automatically form into a smile, as he starts to remember the memories he has with him. A tear fall from his eyes, slowly remembering his death with so much pain in his heart. It's been 4 years already but he can't still get himself to forget such a great person in his life. He always blames himself for everything and why he died. He always scolds himself for being so weak. If he was just stronger that time, no one wouldn't have been hurt. No one wouldn't have died. Just the feeling of someone being left alone because of him, is enough to make him cry in tears right now.
"I miss you so much, hyung." Words that came out from his mouth as he silently cries. This feeling is so heartbreaking for him. He's supposed to visit his grave but he's somehow stuck just outside the memorial park. Whenever he tries to enter, he can't move his feet. He should've stopped already but he just can't stop blaming himself for his death. He feels so guilty about it that makes him sob now, hiccups in between. Though everyone is telling him it's not his fault, he just can't get himself to believe their words. Well, he wants to break through from everything but...How can he do that? After all of this, he still can't forgive himself.
A wind passes by him that makes him shiver a little bit. But, it somehow eased his heart that his feet starts to take little steps forward. He didn't even notice that he's already in front of his grave. His tears betray him again the moment he sees his name on the marble slab. The same heartbreaking feeling comes back, tilting his head upward. And now, he's blaming himself once more.
"I'm so sorry, hyung." His heart seems to can't move on. He feels like he can never move on from it. He can't take it anymore so he lets himself break down in tears. He moves his hands to cover his mouth so he can prevent crying noises from coming out his mouth. He didn't want to interrupt the other people inside the cemetery who are also visiting their late loved ones.
He stays there for about an hour, crying his heart out. And when it stopped, he starts to stare at nothing while contemplating about everything.
He's so lost in his own world when his phone starts to ring. He's too lost that he can't hear it. He's so busy handling his emotions inside him while his friend, who's calling him, is already frustrated because he's not answering. Few more rings before he finally notices. As he presses the answer button, he is suddenly greeted by a yell from her.
Ya! Jeon, why are you not answering your phone?! I've been calling you like 10 minutes already.
Oh, really? I'm sorry, then. I was just visiting him. He quickly wipes his tears away and fixes his voice because he didn't want her to notice he's crying again. He didn't want her to worry. But, he fails.
Hey, are you blaming yourself again? Please stop it already. It's been four years. You know he didn't want everyone, especially you, to be blaming yourself for what happened. So please, smile now, hmm? He can only cry more at this.
By the way...YA! Did you just forget that it's my wedding today?! Where the fuck are you?! Don't forget that you're the best man so, don't you dare ditch my wedding or I swear I'll beat the shit out of you. He is laughing all the time but only in the back of his head. He can't help but feel amused by her cute savageness.
I didn't forget, okay? Gosh. No wonder why we didn't end up together. You're so annoying. He laughs at his own words as he knows she's so provoked right now.
YA! You...! Okay. I'll try to be calm but only for today. It's my fucking wedding and you are already ruining my mood. Gosh, Jeon. Just come to my wedding, understand?!
Okay, Ma'am. He giggles one more time before he ends the call. He looks at his grave once again and finally lets out a smile.
Thank you, hyung. I guess I have to start forgiving myself already. Thank you for everything. I will forever love you and will always be grateful for everything. Please look out for us from wherever you are, hmm?
He gently caresses the marble slab before he stood up and went his way to his car. But then, his phone starts to ring again, seeing Dr. Han's name.
Hello, Jinyoung. He greeted.
Hello, Mr. Jeon. I just want to inform you that your results are out already. You can get it now.
Okay, Jinyoung. I'll go there now. He starts the engine and sighs with a smile as he carefully makes his way to the hospital. It didn't take a lot of time before he arrived at the hospital and got the result. He's glad to hear that he's more than fine now after the dreadful thing happened to him four years ago. He didn't waste anytime and drives next to the wedding. But before that, he passed by the park where he had lots of memories with him.
"I miss you so much, love." He silently said as a tear fell. Beside the rearview mirror is their picture together. How they look so happy together is so visible in their eyes. Since the day he left him, he misses him more and more each day.
In awhile, he finally arrives at the church where the wedding will he held. Well, he's prepared since morning and is already wearing his tuxedo. The others start to greet him one by one. All of his friends are present. Taehyung is with his wife, Dahyun. Yoongi and Lisa is engaged five months ago. Their wedding is coming near, too. Hoseok is with his husband, Mark. He's glad that these two are back together, and now they're happily married. Then, he sees Jin who's carrying a cute little girl in his arms. He smiles genuinely at that, seeing Jin so happy now.
"Ya, Jeon Jimin. Why are you late?" It is Taehyung who called him. He giggles a little as he sees the serious look from his bestfriend.
"I just visited someone." All of them look at him curiously, especially Jin who gave him a genuine smile. Jimin still feels guilty about it but he still tries to return the smile. He knows Jin is okay now but he can't still forget what happened.
He can never forget how Namjoon got shot instead of him.
Jin, who noticed his sudden change of expression, places down his daughter, Kim Ah Na, and hugs him right away.
"Jimin, it's not your fault. Please, stop thinking that it's your fault. If I were him, I would exactly do the same thing. I would save you, too. And, I understand why he did that. Though it hurts so much, I don't resent you. Though he already left us, me, he will never be forgotten. He's always with us, in our hearts. So please smile now, okay?" Jin whispers through his ears. On cue, he breaks down in tears again as he nods to every word Jin says. After the hug, Jin wipes his tears away.
"Stop crying. Come on, we're at a wedding. If Jungkook is here, he'll definitely scold me for making you cry." Jin is crying, too, while giggling at the same time like Jimin.
"Yeah." Jimin can only laugh, too, sniffing after the warm crying moment.
"Where's that husband of yours, by the way? Is he still away for business?" Taehyung asks him after the hug, as he carefully supports his pregnant wife while standing.
"Yeah. He told me he'll come back home tomorrow. I feel so sad that he can't be here on Taemin hyung and Hee Yeon's wedding." The others just smiled at him that made him confused for awhile. But as the wedding starts, smiles are plastered on everyone as they feel the unending happiness for the soon to be newly-weds.

At the reception hall
All of them are now happily sitting together as the MC starts the program. People start to stand up in the middle in congratulating the newly wed couple. Jimin is smiling all the time when the MC suddenly calls his name for a speech. Jimin has no idea to everything so as he stands up in the middle, he starts to feel the nervousness. But as soon as he sees the happy faces of the newly weds, his nervousness disappears.
"Uhmm, I'm not prepared for this though." Everyone then laughs in unison.
"Well, some of you may know I used to be her fiancé, but I'm glad we didn't end up together." The others laugh again. Hee Yeon is already giving him death glares while Taemin is just laughing.
"Don't get mad at me yet. If we ended up together, then we wouldn't witness this beautiful moment with you, right? You two are really meant for each other. God just used me as a bridge for you two. I'm happy that you found love and happiness in each other. Everyone of us is happy for you." Hee Yeon then cries at his words as Taemin hugs her while Jimin continues his speech while in tears, too.
"Wishing you a happy life together. Please love each other until the end. Again, congratulations. Cheers to a life full of love and happiness for the Lee's." Jimin held his wineglass up in which everyone follows and drinks in unison.
The moment where the newly weds should dance, comes right away. Jimin, just like everyone, is so happily looking at the adorable newly weds. His heart is so touched whenever the two kisses and hugs each other. He can also remember the same moment he had with Jungkook in their own wedding. He can still remember how Jungkook looks at him with lots of love in his eyes.
He didn't realize that he's crying already while remembering those historical moments. He misses Jungkook so much that he feels a little bit jealous of the couple. He feels so alone but he knows Jungkook has his reasons why he's not with him.
Then, the song suddenly changes that makes him start to cry, hearing that meaningful song. The song which also has an important part in their lovestory.
Tears again stream down his face. His eyes fall on Jin as the latter mouthed unclear words at him. He's so confused so he look at the others, too, seeing them giving him mysterious smiles. Then finally, he looks at Taehyung beside him.
"Happy birthday, Jimin." Taehyung silenty said before the lights went off. He then starts to feel scared but he can still hear the silent murmurs of the guests. He's so prepared to stand up already but at the same time, a guitar starts to play to which is a familiar song to him. It's their theme song.
'Wait, what's happening? I can't see anything.' He thought to himself as he tries to spread his arms in finding the way out. He almost slap himself for not using his phone right away. He's about to get the phone from his pocket when he is stopped from his track by a beautiful voice that is singing. The voice which he misses for 3 weeks already.
The lights popped open again, and there standing in the middle with a microphone is the man he's married to.
The man who he misses so much.
The man who he loves so much.
The man who captured his heart from the very first time they met.
The man who made it easily for him to say yes.
The man who treated him as his whole world.
The man who made him feel so loved always.
The man who proved that no matter what happens, Jungkook's love for him will never change.
Though many years have passed, their love will never change. No one just couldn't break that strong love they have for each other. That even time passes, it's still their love that will exist forever.
As Jungkook is singing, he's also crying like Jimin. Jimin just can't believe that this is happening. Just seeing Jungkook standing there while singing his heart out for him is enough to make him cry in happiness. The song makes him remember everything that had happened to them. He's just so happy to know that Jungkook is his and he is Jungkook's.
After the song, Jungkook walks towards him and pulls him to the middle. Jimin didn't waste any time and hugs him right away. Afterwards, he saw the others are all smiling and crying, too, including the newly weds, Taemin and Hee Yeon. Then his eyes fell on Jisoo with Min Joon, and beside her is Chanyeol. Jimin smiles back at her as Chanyeol wraps his arm around her shoulders. Jimin feels so happy that finally Jisoo has found her great love and helped Chanyeol to recover from everything. And now, they're a happy family.
His eyes went back to Jungkook's when the latter holds his chin to face him.
They're both crying as the others are still crying, too.
"I miss you so much, love. You didn't tell me you'll come back today." Jimin can only cry while throwing a weak punch on Jungkook's chest.
"I wanted to surprise my husband so I came back today. I miss you too, love. So so much." Though they're married for about 2 years now, Jimin is still flustered whenever Jungkook calls him his husband.
"Happy birthday, love." Jimin's face grow shocked at what he just heard. He literally forgot that it's his birthday today.
"You forgot it's your birthday, right?" Jimin nods while Jungkook gigles at the cuteness of his husband.
"I already know you forgot about it since morning." Jimin is shocked once again.
"You mean you're already here since morning?" It's Jungkook's time to nod while smiling.
"I was with you, watching you all the time. I'm happy you're finally feeling okay after Namjoon hyung's death." A tear falls but Jungkook is quick to wipe it away.
"Don't cry anymore, love. I'm here already." Jimin nods as he snuggles on Jungkook's neck.
"I love you so much, Jeon Jungkook."
"I love you too, Jeon Jimin. Always and forever."
It is a beautiful sight for everyone. Them hugging each other affectionately and sharing a short but a loving kiss as the others whistles and cooes at their sweetness.
"Ya, stop stealing the spotlight. This is my wedding." Hee Yeon said, making everyone laugh hard.
The Jeons suddenly feel shy as Jimin hides his face on Jungkook's shoulders. Jungkook gigles at his husband's cuteness, intertwining their hands together as they join the others in the table.
So much had happened. There's too many hurtful happenings and yet, it's still them in the end. Their love for each other just gets stronger each day.
And, Jungkook will never get tired of saying this to his eternal love, Jimin.
I will never regret falling for you.
I will never regret loving you.
Now that you're officially mine, I will never let anyone ruin us again because this time, I will trust our love.
I will always hold on the us we have.
And, I will never ever get tired of telling the whole world how much I love you.
Even if the world is against us, I won't stop loving you because...
this love we have
is worth fighting for.
This is for eternity.
