Hassena was working on the files in her cabin , with Karishma , seated in front of her , doing the same ... The bakeiti trio were also doing their works silently,cursing Mira G in mind , who would be the snatcher of their jobs in the coming month .... Mira G was also inspecting all around the station and scanning through the files silently... Even Billu , also not in the mood to flirt with Mira G , so , he gathered around Badnaam's stall , siping that bakwas poisonous tea silently ..... Haseena was so much engrossed in her work that she couldn't sense the unusual silence .....
She kept her pens down , stretched her arms in order to give a break to her muscles and mind simultaneously ; and suddenly she shifted her gaze towards her right , through the door of her cabin , and witnessed one of the most unnatural scenario in front of her eyes .. CheeToshPa (the trio) were working silently , without any chitchatting !!!!
"Yah Khuda ! Ye to Kamal ho gaya " She thought and then shifted her gaze a little backward and saw the reason of this "Kamal" , that's Mira G's keen inspection around everywhere ...
Haseena smiled a little and then she shifted back her gaze to her cabin and saw in front of her ... Her "Bhadi huyi Bandook" , who was used to shout most of the time in the station even just a day before , especially on her "Urmi Version" (She chuckled inwardly) , how silent has she become for now , opss correction !! from the time she had arrived today ; even she wasn't shifting her gaze from the files ... There's no Mira in her cabin .. then what should be the reason of this silence ???
"I should talk to her " Haseena thought , She cleared her throat and called " Karishma Singh ...."
But there was no reply
" Karishmaa Singhhhh " this time , a bit louder
Still no reply
Now , Haseena is sure that something must be bothering Karishma , so , she keeps her hand on Karishma's and gently presses it "Karishma Singh , kaha khoyi huyi hain aap?"
Sensing a touch on her palm , Karishma jerks and lifts on her face " Jiii ... Maddam Sir .. Kuch kaha aapne ? "
"Kabse awaz dey rahe hain aapko .. kaha khoyi huyi thi aap ? Pareshani hain kuch ?" Haseena asks so softly and genuinely
"Na..nahi ..nahi ...Maddam Sir..." She starts fumbling but composes herself " nahi Maddam sir , koyi pareshani nahi hain ... aapko aisa kyun laga ? Wo to humara dhyan bass files mein tha , isiliye hume sunai nahi diya aapki awaaz .. " Karishma replies quickly
But it doesn't satisfy Haseena ; She keeps her palm on her cheeks , narrows her eyes and again asks "Sachmein ?"
" Haaa... sachmein .. hum jhoot kahe bolenge .." Karishma replies " wo to aap bolte hain " she mumbles..
But her badluck , Haseena hears it
"Hum jhoot bolte hain ?" Haseena asks , raising her eyebrows 🤨
" Nahi ...nahi ....aap ..kyun ... kya Maddam Sir aap bhi .. kya kya sunte hain.." Karishma tries to escape the conversation
" Aap humse khafa hain , Karishma Singh ?" Haseena finally asks
" Nahi ..to ...hum..hum aapse kyun naraj honge ...hum to junior hain aapke" Karishma replies , looking down , into the files
With that , Haseena finds her answer ... That one sarcasm of Karishma , is enough for her , to understand , what is going inside her mind ... Haseena smiles a little and then she throws her Bramhastra by saying softly "yahi baat , Humari taraf dekhke bataiye , hum maan lenge .."
On hearing this , Karishma freezes for a second ..She bites her lips and within 5 second she composes herself, looks at Haseena and replies in the same soft tone , without any tinge of sarcasm "Hum nahi hain Maddam sir , aapse naraj"
But that 5 seconds was enough for Haseena to clear her doubts totally , she smiles inwardly thinking that " Ohh , Karishma , you've to practice more , to hide yourself , from me "
She stands up from her chair , goes near the door and locks it , then she also closes the window , sits on the couch and gestures Karishma to come
Karishma slowing comes there , mentally preparing herself not to melt down soon this time , in the upcoming session
"Chaliye suru kijiye " Haseena announces as Karishma sits beside her
" Kya ?" Karishma asks with a frown
"Yahi ki hum firse aapko kuch nahi batake Urmi ban gaye ... isiliye khafa hain na aap humse ? To daant lijiye humhe , hum taiyaar hain .." Haseena answers casually , imagining that it'll be so simple , this way..
Karishma chuckles inwardly , then instead of answering the question , she asks another question " accha Maddam sir , issbar to , aapne Urmi bankar, humara jhootha kasam bhi kha liya ... Haan , haan , humko maloom hain , aapne sabkuch humlogo ke liye hi kiyen hain, aapke hisabse issbar bhi aap majboor the , firbhi , jhootha kasam to kha liya aapne" Karishma stops for a while to give some time Haseena to think and it literally works ; Haseena's body already starts being restless on hearing those words ..
and just then Karishma adds " Too sochiye agar , aaj , jab hum field duty se laut rahe honge , tab , ek truck jiski break fail ho chuka hai , achanak piche se aake , humse takraa gaya aur ....."
"Karishmaaaaaaaaaaa Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiingh" Karishma startles with the scream , and feels that her mouth is already been shut as Haseena keeps her palm on it , hardly ...
"Pagal hogai hain aap ? Kyasi baaten karrahi hain ? Aapko pata bhi hain ki aap kya bolrahi hain ? Haan ? Yesab khayal bhi kyse aasakta hain apke jahan mein ?" Haseena brusts out in one breath with glittering tears in the corner of her eyes
" Kysa laga ? Aisa laga na ek jhatke se sabkuch khali ho gaya ?" Karishma asks with a smile in corner of her lips
But Haseena can't reply , as she is panting and sweating badly, just anticipating the consequences of Karishma's words
Karishma keeps her hand on Haseena's shoulder "bass sunke hi aisa halat ho gaya ? Aur humne aapne aankhon se ye hote huye dekha , wo bhi do baar ... do baar dhoka diya aapne .. humare dosti ko ... do do baar dhoka diya aapne.." Karishma bursts out , this time , literally shaking Haseena by her shoulder
Haseena flinches with that , she looks at Karishma's eyes , that are red , apparently due to anger , but deep down , they're hurt .. Her whole self was so much hurt , that Haseena can't look at her any more , she shifts her gaze down to control her own welled up tears
" Itna bhi bharosa nahi hain na aapko , humpe ? " Karishma asks in her cracked voice to which Haseena moves her head sideways
"Aap na bohot Mahan hain Maddam Sir .. har taraf se , aap kahe ro rahi hain ?Aap bahot acchi hain Maddam Sir ... bilkul sahi kiya aapne ... humhi asaphal (unsuccessful) rah gaye khudko , aapki dosti ki qaabil banane mein , itna bhi bharosa nahi dila paye aapko ki aap humse aapni pareshahi baat (share) payein .." Karishma adds , suppressing her own emerging sob
" Nahi ban payein hum , ek acche dost , firse haar gaye hum ; aap jeet gayi , aapki leadership jeet gayi , aapki Jajbaat jeet gayi Maddam Sir ; humari dosti haar gayi.." with this Karishma wipes her tears , stands up from the couch , " Chaliye Maddam sir, kaam karte hain , bahot kaam bacha hain , ab to ye tin ka dabba bhi aagayi hain naukri khane k liye , aapka urmi banna bekar kar diya isne.." Karishma finishes , this time with sarcasm
" Aapki dosti nahi haari hain Karishma Singh , sach to ye hain ki , hum aap jyase dost deserve hi nahi karte " Haseena answers , with a verge of sobbing
"Choriye yesab Maddam Sir , Kaam karte hain " Karishma says while sitting down , on the chair
"Nahi Karishma Singh , aaj humhe bolne dijiye , humhe koi haq nahi hain , bar bar aapke dil dukhane ka , pichli baar wo hamari majboori thi , lekin iss bar ..." Haseena voice gets glitched as lumps are formed in her throat
" Iss bar to aapko Mahan banna tha na ?kurbani deni thi aapni team ke liye , hain na ?" Karishma completes the sentence , turning towards Haseena
" Nahi Karishma Singh , humare liye bhi ye sab asaan nahi tha , humhe tab jo thik laga humne kiya , par pata hain , isse humhe ye to pata chala ki Karishma Singh ke rahte huye , Haseena Mallik khud bhi khud ka kuch bigaad nahi sakti " Haseena replies , looking at Karishma with hopeful eyes 🥺
" Wahi na Maddam sir , Aap jeet gayi , sayed hum bhi jeet gaye , lekin humari dosti haar gayi " Karishma says with a sigh
"Issbar humari galti thi , humhe aapse baat karna chahiye tha , lekin .. hum .. hum phirse dar gaye the ... hum na aapse waada karte hain iske baat aapse kuch nahi chupayenge" Haseena acknowledges , coming forward to Karishma
" Aur aage se kabhi bhi aapko baataye bina Urmi nahi banenge" Haseena's voice shakes as her tears are not in the mood to stop flowing
" Saach ? " Karishma asks
"Mooch " Haseena answers cutety
"Aur kabhi bhi aapke dil nahi dukhayenge , aapse dur nahi jayenge , Waada" , Haseena holds her ears , "Karishma Singh wala wada , jo kabhi nahi tootta" she adds , still sobbing
On hearing this , a smile creeps on Karishma's face ; She puts Haseena's hands down from her ears , wipes her tears and forwards her hands " ek nayi suruyat , Karishma Singh wale waade ke saath "
Finally Haseena smiles , she also forwards her hands and does their World famous crisscross handshake
"Ab to aap humhe maaf kar diya na ? Ab to aap naraaz nahi hain na humse?" Haseena asks so innocently "hum bhi nahi sahan kar pate aapke naarazgi , sachme , humhe bhi yaha (pointing towards her heart 🫀) bahot chubta hain " 🥺
Karishma can't speak as tears wells up in her eyes again , so , she smiles and nods gently
"Bass aur nahi.." Haseena forwards her hands again and wipes Karishma's tears
"To ab kya hum aapko gale se laga sakte hain ?" Again an innocent question from Haseena

"Dosto se pooch te nahi , unpe haq jataya jata hain" Karishma replies ....
With that Haseena spreads her arms and Karishma rushes into them , feeling the moment and throughing out all the insecurities......
"Waise Hum bhi aapse naraz hain " Haseena complains cutely , keeping her chin on Karishma's shoulder
"Chalo ab , ulta chor , kotwal ko dante " Karishma frowns , moving her face from Haseena's shoulder to look at her face , "Aap ki naarazgi ka karan farmaiye SHO sahiba" She says dramatically
" Urmi ne mana kya tha na aapko ? Phirbhi Aap uss zebra crossing Riya ke saath itna kyun chipak rahi thi ? " Haseena again complains
"Aree , ye hum kya dekhrahe hain , SHO Haseena Mallik ko jalan ho raha hain ?" Karishma smirks , slowly getting out of the embrace
"Nahi , humhe kyun jalan hoga , wo to ,.. wo to ... Haan ... humne isiliye kaha kyunki humhe nahi accha laga uss Riya ko " Haseena replies , not finding any other excuses
"Isko jalna hi kahte hai Maddam Sir " Kariahma again says the same , while suppressing her smile
"Haan , Haan , ho raha tha humhe jalan .. aapse matlab ? Aur kya bulati thi aapko wo ? Kass baby ? Eeeeeeeee 🥴... Aur aapne palat ke kuch kaha bhi nahi usse .." again Haseena's complain 🌝
" Wo to karna pada na , kyunki humara ek dost hain , Mahila Thane ki SHO, uska naam jo likhana tha Itihash ke panno mein , bass isliye kuch kaha nahi usko " Kariahma answers back , pulling Haseena's cheeks
Haseena jerks her hands off , from her cheeks and turns her face away " Aapne Shivani ke saath bhi icecream khaiyi thi , aur selfie bhi lee thi , lekin humare saath to aapko chai ke bina kuch khane ka baksh hi nahi milta " 😤
"Bapre , itne saare shikayat ...!!!!! Aap , Shivani se jal rahi hain , Maddam sir !!!!" Karishma replies in between her laughter, as she can't hold herself anymore 🤣
"Huuuuuh 😤 , humare Jazbaaton ka koi kadar hi nahi hain" Haseena turns to sit on her kursi (chair)
But Karishma stops her by holding her wrist , Haseena turns to her , giving a death glare ; to which Karishma stops her laughter immediately and says "Chaliye "
"Kaha?" Haseena asks , pretending to be angry
"Shivani aur Riya , itna nahi poochte thein " Karishma answers biting her lips to suppress her laugh
"Hum Shivani ya Riya nahi hain , Hum Haseena hain " Haseena answers proudly 😎
"To thik hain , files pe concentrate karte hain " Karishma says , rolling her eyes
"Nahi chaliye " Haseena replies back quickly with a puppy eyes to which Karishma gives a winning smile
They come out of the cabin ..
"Hum , Karishma Singh ke saath thora bahar ja rahe hain , aaplog Thane ka dhyan rakhna" Haseena announces and they left the station
" Hum kaha ja rahe hain Karishma Singh ?" Haseena asks exitedly
" Thora Sabra (wait) kijiye , Maddam Sir " Karishma replies back while concentrating on driving " aur Kass baby se to bahut problem ho raha tha aapko , ab to khud hi Karishma Singh , itne bade naam se pukaar rahi hain ?" Karishma asks with a mischievous smile 😏
"To kya bolein ?" Haseena replies being clueless
"Batao , wo bhi hum hi bol de ?" Karishma says , rolling her eyes
" Sochte hain " Haseena starts thinking 🤔

The car stops near an Icecream parlour .. A bright dimple wala smile appears on Haseena's face , on seeing it .. She looks towards Kariahma
"Ab humare dost humpe itna bada aarop lagayein hain ki hum unhe kuch khila te nahi hain , to iss arope se khudko nikalna chahiye na ?" Karishma says , while coming out of the car
They take their icecreams , sit near a bench under a Royal poinciana tree and started having it ..
The place is quiet , the cold breeze hits their faces , causing , mess their hairs and sooth their souls simultaneously .. The flowers from the tree fall down on their hairs , making them more peaceful
"Kitna accha lagraha hai na Krishu " Haseena asks , looking at the sky
"Kya kaha aapne abhi ?" Karishma turns towards her
"Krishu ... accha nahi laga aapko? " Haseena asks , turning towards her
"Bahot accha , hain " Kariahma smiles wholeheartedly "ekbar phirse bulaiyein.."
"Pata hain Krishu, humhe na ab ek gaana yaad aa raha " Haseena says
"Humko bhi " Karishma replies and they both look at each other , smiling , gesturing , yahh may be we both are thinking about the same song
"Saath mein gaate hain ..."
Interwinding their hands and joining their temples with each other , they start the song , together
"We're only gettin' older, baby
And I've been thinkin' about it lately
