Outside the airport, I walked toward the parking lot with my two children to meet up with Liliana. She had specially taken time off from the hospital to pick us up.
It was just dinner time, and Liliana had already booked 'The Brass Fork' restaurant to welcome us.
Throughout the journey, I felt something was off about my two precious ones. Usually, these two little ones weren't shy at all and wanted everyone in the world to dote on them when going out. But today they were unusually shy.
I asked nervously, "Are you feeling unwell somewhere?"
Ever since learning I had lost those two babies, I especially treasured what I had now.
"Mason" explained, "Maybe we didn't drink enough water on the plane, plus being in a strange environment, we're a bit uncomfortable. We'll probably feel better in a while."
I immediately poured water for both precious ones.
Third Person Perspective:
Magnus brought the two children to 'The Brass Fork' for dinner after leaving the airport.
This restaurant was already a property under the Evermere family group.
When Magnus came, naturally he got the best private room.
Shortly after he ordered, all the dishes were served.
Sophia, who was pretending to be mute, was a little foodie. Seeing the dishes on the table, her eyes lit up.
Especially the large crab legs in front of her - almost uncontrollably, she reached out her little hand.
Just as she was about to touch it, the crab legs suddenly lifted into the air.
Magnus ruthlessly moved the plate away, his tone carrying a hint of regretful self-blame, "Daddy forgot, you're allergic to seafood."
Sophia was full of question marks, but thinking that she was now impersonating her sister's identity, she could only watch helplessly as the delicious food was taken away. Feeling extremely wronged, she immediately looked at Mason, her eyes revealing her desire to eat.
Mason reached under the table, soothingly patted Sophia's little hand, and signaled with his eyes, "Bear with it."
Sophia pouted dissatisfiedly, but thinking that she was now Selene, she endured it!
When they were halfway through their meal, Magnus's phone suddenly rang, showing 'Helena' on the screen.
The two children immediately looked at each other - it was the new bad woman! They wanted to take revenge for Selene and Vincent!
