In another private room.
We had almost finished dinner. Seeing signs of ending, "Sophia" became restless, constantly moving around in her seat. Looking at her, I couldn't help asking: "Baby, what's wrong?"
"Mason" heard me and instinctively looked at "Sophia," immediately knowing she needed to use the restroom. He quickly said: "Do you need to wash your hands? I'll take you."
"Sophia" nodded and put her little hand into "Mason's" outstretched palm.
"Mommy, we'll be right back." "Mason" said naturally, his tone carrying a hint of being a little adult, then led "Sophia" out.
Liliana watched the two children and couldn't help sighing to me: "Not seeing them for a while, Mason has become much more mature."
I couldn't help but laugh: "He's only mature when it comes to Sophia. He still throws tantrums sometimes! Like yesterday, he almost crashed the research institute's system again!"
Liliana couldn't help but laugh loudly after hearing this.
Third Person Perspective:
Vincent led Selene to the restroom entrance and whispered instructions: "Go in by yourself, I'll wait outside."
Selene nodded and went in.
Vincent waited in the corridor outside, but his mind began recalling the day's events. He had been looking for opportunities to ask the aunt about those two children. He also felt it was too coincidental - how could there be people who looked so similar to him and Selene in the world? The only possibility was... that beautiful aunt was Mommy!
Mommy wasn't dead!
Thinking of this possibility, Vincent felt angry. That big liar Daddy actually said Mommy had passed away, and he often interacted with Helena. That woman pretended to care about him and Selene on the surface, but secretly always hinted that she would marry Daddy in the future and have children with him. It was disgusting!
Fortunately, Mommy finally came back, and he and Selene no longer had to worry about Helena entering their family!
Just as Vincent was thinking about these things, he suddenly heard footsteps nearby. He instinctively looked up and saw a face identical to his own.
The two children were stunned, almost unable to react. Facing this familiar yet strange face, they froze. It was like looking in a mirror.
Even though he already had some guesses, Mason still felt incredulous when he saw the other appear.
"Mason, Mason..." Just then, Sophia also rushed out of the women's restroom. Her delighted calls stopped abruptly when she saw two identical Masons standing at the door, and her steps stopped in place.
"What? Two Masons..."
Sophia's voice rose at the end, finding it particularly interesting.
Behind her... Selene also slowly walked out, her expression showing some timid surprise.
The four children had officially met.
Looking at each other, they seemed to be getting familiar with one another.
"Should we... find a place to exchange information?"
