Arrival of the Queens
Blackwood University was known for two things—its prestige and its cruelty. The students who walked its halls belonged to the wealthy elite, the kind of people who believed power was their birthright. But despite its polished exterior, the university had a dark underbelly ruled by the strong, while the weak suffered in silence.
For years, a particular group of students had dominated the social hierarchy, preying on those they deemed inferior. But today, everything was about to change.
Three figures stepped through the towering iron gates of Blackwood University. They walked with a confidence that turned heads and sent whispers flying through the campus. Their presence alone was enough to alter the very air around them—dangerous, unyielding, and untouchable.
Jennie Kim. Rosé Park. Irene Bae.
They weren’t just ordinary students. They were the heirs to the most powerful mafia families in South Korea. Sisters by bond, bound by blood and loyalty, their names were spoken in hushed tones in the underworld. To the outside world, they were simply new transfers. But to those who understood true power, they were forces to be reckoned with.
Jennie led the trio, her sharp eyes scanning the surroundings with a calculated coldness. Her long, dark hair framed her face perfectly, making her look like a queen walking through her kingdom. She didn’t need to speak—her presence alone demanded submission.
To her right, Rosé moved with a quiet grace, her soft exterior hiding the lethal warrior within. Unlike Jennie, who exuded dominance, Rosé carried an air of unpredictability. With her honey-blonde hair cascading over her shoulders and her delicate features, she looked too gentle to be dangerous. But anyone who underestimated her would regret it.
And then there was Irene, the Ice Queen. Beautiful beyond words, she walked with an effortless charm, her lips curled in an almost amused smirk. But behind those eyes lay a darkness that had swallowed men whole. If Jennie was fire, and Rosé was the blade in the dark, Irene was the storm that broke empires.
Their arrival did not go unnoticed. Whispers spread like wildfire.
“Who are they?”
“They look… dangerous.”
“They’re beautiful, but there’s something about them… something terrifying.”
They ignored the stares, the murmurs, and the open curiosity. They weren’t here to make friends. They had their own reasons for coming to Blackwood. And nothing, absolutely nothing, would stand in their way.
Meanwhile…
In a secluded area behind the campus gardens, three students sat together, their lunch barely touched as they spoke in hushed voices.
Lisa Manoban sighed, rolling her eyes as she flipped through her textbook. “Another day in hell.”
Jisoo Kim, her best friend, chuckled softly. “Come on, it’s not that bad.”
Seulgi Kang, ever the quiet one, merely shook her head. “Lisa has a point. The bullying’s getting worse.”
Lisa scoffed. “Yeah? Tell that to the bruises on my arms.”
For years, Lisa, Jisoo, and Seulgi had endured the torment of Blackwood’s elite bullies. They had learned to survive, to stay under the radar, but it was never enough. No matter how much they tried to ignore it, trouble always found them.
Their conversation was cut short when a familiar group of troublemakers appeared, sneering as they approached.
“Well, well, well. If it isn’t the losers of Blackwood.” The leader, a tall, arrogant student named Minho, crossed his arms. “Still hiding here like the scared little nobodies you are?”
Lisa clenched her fists, but Jisoo grabbed her wrist, silently pleading for her not to react.
“What’s wrong, Lisa?” Minho grinned. “You got something to say?”
Lisa gritted her teeth. “Just leave us alone.”
“Oh? And if I don’t?”
The tension thickened, but before anyone could say another word, a voice sliced through the air like a dagger.
“They told you to leave.”
Minho turned, irritation flashing across his face—until he saw who had spoken. His arrogance faltered for the first time in years.
Jennie Kim stood a few feet away, her arms crossed, her expression unreadable. Behind her, Rosé casually examined her nails, and Irene tilted her head, amusement twinkling in her eyes.
Minho swallowed hard. He didn’t know who they were, but something in their presence sent a cold shiver down his spine.
“And who the hell are you?” he tried to sound confident, but his voice wavered.
Jennie stepped forward, her gaze sharp as a blade. “The last person you ever want to mess with.”
Minho hesitated, looking at his friends, but none of them seemed eager to challenge the newcomers. Something told him that these girls weren’t ordinary.
Rosé smirked. “Run along now. Unless you want to see how bad of a day we can make this for you.”
Minho and his gang exchanged glances before slowly backing away. They weren’t cowards, but something about the way these three carried themselves screamed danger.
As soon as they disappeared, Lisa, Jisoo, and Seulgi turned to the mafia queens, confusion and curiosity in their eyes.
“Why did you help us?” Jisoo asked hesitantly.
Jennie glanced at her, her lips curving into a smirk. “Because we don’t like bullies.”
Irene chuckled. “And we hate seeing interesting people being treated like trash.”
Rosé shrugged. “Looks like we’ll be seeing a lot more of each other.”
And just like that, the balance of Blackwood University shifted forever.
