                    Lisa's POV
Darius's words echoed in my head. The Revenants weren't just after territory-they were trying to destroy the entire balance of power. And we were right in their path.
I clenched my fists, forcing myself to remain calm. Jennie, sitting beside me, had her expression locked in an unreadable mask, but I could see the fire in her eyes. She wasn't just angry-she was ready to burn anyone who got in our way.
Darius swirled his drink in his glass, watching us closely. "If you're serious about stopping them, you'll need more than just brute force. You need strategy."
Jennie's voice was cold. "And you expect us to believe you're just handing this information over out of the kindness of your heart?"
Darius chuckled. "Hardly. I'm a businessman, and the Revenants are bad for business."
I leaned forward, resting my elbows on my knees. "Then what do you want from us?"
Darius smirked. "An alliance."
Jisoo, who had been leaning against the bar, straightened. "You want us to trust you?"
Darius spread his hands. "We have a common enemy."
Jennie's jaw tightened, but I knew what she was thinking. Aligning with Darius wasn't ideal, but we needed every advantage we could get.
"Fine," Jennie said at last. "But if you cross us-"
Darius grinned. "You'll kill me. I know."
Back at the Safehouse
The tension in the air was suffocating. Irene, Rosé, and Seulgi were already waiting when we arrived.
Irene's eyes locked onto Jennie's as soon as we entered. "Well?"
Jennie sighed, dropping onto the couch. "Darius gave us intel, but he wants an alliance."
Irene frowned. "And you're considering it?"
Jisoo crossed her arms. "It might be our best option."
Seulgi shook her head. "Darius is dangerous. We can't trust him."
Jennie rubbed her temples. "I don't trust him. But I trust that he doesn't want the Revenants running this city either."
Rosé sat on the arm of the couch. "So what's our next move?"
Lisa exhaled. "We use him. Get as much information as we can, then strike before the Revenants can make theirs."
A heavy silence followed before Irene finally nodded. "Then we move fast."
Jennie looked around at all of us. "This is it. We either take them down, or we lose everything."
Lisa smirked. "Then let's make sure we win."
