It was 1 AM. The kind of stillness that makes you question whether you’re still in a dream or not. And then, Orm’s voice broke through the silence like a thunderclap.
“WHATTTTTT! WOAHHHHHH! WAAAHHHHHH! YEEEEEESSSSS! WOOHOOOOOO! YES! YES! YESSSS!”
Sonya shot up in bed, her eyes wide with panic, as if she’d just heard an explosion. “What happened?!” she gasped, still half-dazed, her heart racing from the sudden shriek.
Bec, groggy and disoriented, rolled over in her bed, squinting into the darkness. “Where... where’s the ghost?” she asked, her voice thick with sleep but laced with a growing sense of dread.
Film, who was already awake and eyeing Orm with an almost resigned expression, replied casually, “Maybe it’s in Orm. She’s the one acting possessed.”
“What?!” Bec and Sonya both gasped, sitting up now, their faces a mix of confusion and fear.
Orm was indeed sprinting around the room, wild-eyed, her body moving in a frenzy like some sort of possessed entity. She was yelling, laughing, and just generally creating chaos, her laughter echoing like a haunted melody.
“See? Running around the room, screaming like a lunatic,” Film added, nodding toward Orm. Her words were flat, but there was an underlying hint of amusement in her eyes.
Sonya and Bec exchanged a nervous glance, both of them gulping. They had no idea what was happening, but it was getting weird. Really weird.
Bec’s eyes widened as a thought hit her. “Sonya… call the exorcist! Fast!”
Sonya blinked, "yeah yeah" her brain struggling to catch up. “Wait… what?! Exorcist? Do you think I have an exorcist on speed dial? What am I, a occultist?!”
Film, unable to hold it in any longer, burst out laughing. “wtf! Guys you all are hilarious” she said, The tension in the room instantly lightened, though the confusion remained.
But the three of them weren’t done just yet. They took a collective deep breath, mustered all their courage, and shouted, “ORM!”
Suddenly, Orm froze mid-sprint, her body locking in place as if someone had pressed pause on her. She turned around, a huge grin spreading across her face like a Cheshire cat who’d just eaten the canary.
“SHE ACCEPTED! SHE ACCEPTED!” Orm shouted, practically vibrating with excitement. “She accepted! She followed me back! Wohooooooo!”
The three of them stared at her in utter confusion, brows furrowed, completely lost.
“What?!” Sonya managed to croak, her brain still trying to process what was happening. “Who FOLLOWED you back? You’ve been running around like a ghost at 1 AM, and now you’re talking about followers?”
Orm, unbothered, laughed and then screamed—no, shouted—at the top of her lungs, “LINGLING SIRILAK KWONGGGGGG!”
All three of them instinctively covered their ears. The sound of Orm’s voice was so loud, so high-pitched, it felt like their eardrums were going to explode. The room went deathly silent for a beat before Sonya, Bec, and Film all looked at each other, speechless.
“I swear,” Sonya muttered, “Orm is gonna be the death of us.”
Orm Kornnaphat Sethrathanapong was the type of person who could have everything handed to her on a silver platter, but she preferred to work for it herself. The daughter of the famous actress Naruemon Phongsupa and heir to the frozen food empire Sethachon Co., Ltd, Orm could’ve easily cruised through life, relying on her family’s name. But no, she was determined to make her own way. She was studying International Economics at Srinakharinwirot University, and on top of that, juggling a rising career as an actress and model.
Despite having the perfect background, Orm’s journey wasn’t all glitter and glam. She worked hard on every role—whether it was a small part or a bigger one. She had a decent fanbase, but she still had a long way to go. She wasn’t where she wanted to be yet, but she was getting there, slowly and steadily.
Now, the most exciting part of Orm’s life? Well, apart from her acting career. It was her huge crush on Lingling Sirilak Kwong. If Orm was obsessed with anyone, it was Lingling, the current queen of Thai entertainment. Beautiful, talented, and adored by fans, Lingling was the kind of star who could stop traffic with a smile. Orm had met her a couple of times at events, but beyond the casual hello, there was nothing.
Orm had followed Lingling on Instagram long ago, liking every single photo she posted, and dreamed of the day she’d get noticed. And then, one night, it happened. Orm was scrolling through her phone when she saw it—"linglingkwong has followed you back."
Orm blinked. Re-read it. And then she screamed.
After that night, Orm's Instagram became one of the most important parts of her life. Every time she posted, she found herself eagerly checking to see if Lingling had liked her picture. Sometimes she did, sometimes she didn’t, but it was enough to make Orm feel like she was noticed, even if just for a second. Sometimes Lingling even commented, and that was enough to make Orm feel like she was in a dream. Life was good—her work, her university life, and of course, her secret crush—everything seemed stable, and she was content.
Then, on November 1st, 2024, Orm posted a picture of herself in her graduation outfit.
The caption read: “You are invited on 23rd November 2024! and I'll wait for her: My Special One 🤍”
Instantly, likes and comments flooded in. The same question popped up in almost every comment: Who is this special one?
Bec, Sonya, and Film couldn’t stop laughing at the curiosity it sparked. Everyone seemed so desperate to know who Orm was referring to.
Bec, with a teasing grin, asked, “Umm, Orm darling, do you think your special one will notice and show up on your graduation day?”
Orm paused for a second, then smiled. She hadn’t given it much thought, but now that Bec mentioned it... "Would she notice?" Orm wasn’t sure if Lingling would even care, but just the thought of her liking the post was enough to make her heart race. "I don't know, but if she just like or comment, I’ll be happy. I mean, we don’t even really know each other, right?" Orm said with a hopeful sigh.
Her friends nodded. They knew the situation—Orm and Lingling had followed each other on Instagram, but they’d never actually spoken to each other. No DMs, no private conversations, just a quiet following.
And here, On 20th November 2024
Lingling sat in her vanity, glued to her phone with a huge smile on her face, her eyes locked on the screen as if the rest of the world didn’t exist. She was so immersed in whatever she was doing that she didn’t even notice her friend Junji walk into the room and sit right in front of her. It wasn’t until Junji spoke that Lingling’s focus broke, her expression filled with disbelief.
“Again, Ling?” Junji said, her voice dripping with surprise.
Lingling, barely looking up, rolled her eyes and replied with a bored expression, “You should knock before barging in. You’ve got no manners.”
Junji, ever the sassy one, rolled her eyes right back and retorted, “Oh please! Don’t act so prim. You’re stalking Orm again, and you’re talking about manners?”
Lingling didn’t even acknowledge Junji’s jab. The moment.Orm’s name left Junji’s lips, Lingling’s face immediately flushed. She smiled like a teenage girl with a crush, butterflies fluttering in her stomach. Junji watched her in disbelief, shaking her head at how obvious Lingling’s feelings were.
Then Lingling practically sighed, dreamy-eyed, “Her graduation is in three days, you know. HER GRADUATION DAY.”
Junji, looking at her with an expression that could only be described as “Are you kidding me?”, replied, “You’ve been telling me about it since November 1st. So what now?”
Lingling looked back at her friend, eyes sparkling with determination, “What do you mean, what now? I’m going. I’m going on the 23rd, FOR HER!”
Junji spun around, stunned, “Wait, what? You’re actually going? And why? Just because you have a crush on her?”
Lingling, narrowing her eyes with a serious glint in them, snapped, “It’s not a crush, you idiot. It’s love.”
With a dramatic flair, she added, “
I am in love with her!”
Junji’s jaw dropped. She stared at Lingling in disbelief before dramatically putting her hand over her ears, “Seriously? You’re 29, and you’re acting like a lovestruck teenager!” She sighed dramatically, as if exhausted by Lingling’s antics. “Who’s gonna take you seriously?”
“And Love? Does she even know what you feel for her? And what exactly are you going to say, under what relation are you showing up? You’ve never even worked with her!” Junji asked, almost challenging Ling.
Ling, with an air of confidence, shot back, “Relation? I’m her special one the one she mentioned in her post. Of course, I have to go!”
Junji raised a skeptical brow. “And how are you so sure you’re the special one?”
“Because it’s me! Who else could it possibly be?” Ling declared with unwavering certainty.
“Delusion” Junji remarked dryly, shaking her head.
“It’s delulu, and delulu is the only solulu,” Ling corrected smugly, a proud smirk playing on her lips.
Junji raised an eyebrow, “Oh wow, you're a Gen Z now?”
Lingling stood a little taller, her voice proud as she beamed, “If my girl’s Gen Z, then I guess I have to be, too.”
Junji facepalmed, her mind struggling to keep up with Lingling’s delusions, “So you’re going to her graduation because you’re obsessed with her? Just because you have a crush?”
Lingling, narrowing her eyes with mock severity, snapped again, “It’s not a crush, Junji. It's LOVE” screamed again.
Junji winced, quickly covering her ears from the sheer volume of Lingling’s confession. “Okay, okay, I get it!” She sighed deeply. “Chill out.”
Lingling, however, was already lost in her dreams of Orm, imagining the two of them together at the graduation. The noise faded, and once again, Lingling was living in her own world, completely oblivious to anything else.
On 23rd November 2024 - Orm's graduation day had arrived. She woke up early, a rarity for her, but today was different. It was a momentous day. The house was filled with chaos as Orm buzzed with excitement, her every move full of thrill. Her energy was contagious, and her mom could only sigh, fully aware of what was to come. She had long learned that no amount of warning could contain Orm’s excitement.
Finally ready, Orm and her mom headed out toward the university. As soon as they arrived, fans swarmed them, eager to catch a glimpse of the graduate. It wasn’t just any ceremony — it was a celebration of a rising star, and the special setup reflected that. After the ceremony, Orm’s manager, boss, and other industry friends would join, but for now, Orm was meeting her fans, greeting them with warmth as she made her way to the university hall.
Inside the hall, her dad and younger brother were already seated. They all settled into their places, and moments later, the ceremony began. When Orm’s name was called, the entire room seemed to hold its breath. Her heart raced as she stood up.
As she walked toward the stage, the emotions flooded her — pride, excitement, and a sense of achievement. The spotlight focused on her, and the applause filled her ears, but all she could feel was the warmth of the moment. The graduation ceremony was a moment she would never forget, a culmination of all her hard work.
When Orm’s name was announced, she stood tall, her heart beating in her chest. As she accepted her degree, a wave of emotion rushed over her — it was the moment she had dreamed of. Her parents, her family, her friends, all were watching her, and in that instant, it felt like the world had paused just for her.
After the ceremony, Orm stepped outside, surrounded by photographers. She and her mom moved toward the setup where the fans were waiting. Orm’s best friends, Bec, Sonya and Film, were the first to rush to her. They engulfed her in a big, tight hug, showering her with congratulations and gifts. The scene was filled with warmth as Orm smiled, interacting with her friends and fans. She was surrounded by love — her co-actors and manager were there too, offering flowers and congratulations. It was everything she had imagined… but still, amidst all the chaos, one person was always on her mind.
Lingling Kwong.
Even with everything going on, Orm could never forget her.
Suddenly, Orm’s friend, Bec, leaned in and teased, “So, where’s your special one? I bet she’ll show up.”
Orm, still caught up in the buzz of the day, smiled, but a trace of sadness flickered in her eyes. “Well, there hasn’t even been a like on that post yet,” she replied, trying to keep the disappointment out of her voice. “And it’s impossible for her to be here. She’s got a fan meet today in another country.”
Her face fell just slightly at the thought — the realization that the feelings were one-sided. Despite everything, a small part of her still held on to hope. Bec noticed and side-hugged her, offering comfort. Orm smiled faintly, assuring her that she was fine.
But then, a sudden noise erupted from the crowd. The sound of fans cheering and cameras shifting to one direction caught everyone’s attention. Orm, along with the others, turned in confusion, wondering what was happening.
And then, like a burst of light in the crowd, She appeared.
Lingling Sirilak Kwong
With a huge bouquet of flowers in her hand, she moved toward Orm, her radiant smile lighting up the space. Orm’s heart skipped a beat as her eyes widened. She couldn’t believe it.
"Lingling Kwong… here?"
Orm gasped, her hand flying to her mouth as disbelief flooded her. There she was — the woman who had occupied her heart, standing before her.
Lingling smiled warmly and stepped forward, her voice soft yet full of emotion, “Congratulations, Orm. You did it.”
Orm’s eyes welled up with tears as the reality of the moment hit her. Her crush — her love — was standing right in front of her. It was more than she had ever hoped for. Tears began to fall from her eyes, and Lingling gently wiped them away with her hands before pulling her into a tight embrace.
Orm’s family and friends exchanged knowing smiles, pleased to see the plan unfold. They had all been a part of this moment, orchestrating the surprise that had Orm’s heart racing with joy.
As photographers called for pictures, Lingling didn’t hesitate. She moved toward Orm, pulling her close by the waist. Orm was startled, her shock turning into a blush as Lingling’s presence enveloped her.
“Let’s take this picture together,” Lingling whispered in a low voice, just for Orm to hear, “Congratulations! My girl. I'm so proud of you!”
Orm’s heart fluttered, and she shyly replied, “Thank you.”
Lingling grinned and raised an eyebrow playfully, “So, who’s the special one?” Her smirk was teasing, but her eyes held all the affection she had for Orm.
Orm looked at her with a smile, the warmth of the moment settling in. She couldn’t contain her own happiness, replying, “The one standing right in front of me, holding me so close.”
And with that, the two of them shared a look — an unspoken understanding of everything between them. They didn’t need words anymore; their hearts had already said it all.
“WHATTTTTT! WOAHHHHHH!
