A sharp pain spread through my heart. Elon probably thought I was embarrassing.
In the noisy private room, I shrank into a corner, hoping no one would notice me.
My soaked clothes clung to my body, making me feel light-headed and feverish.
Elon, who never lifted a finger at home, carefully peel shrimp for Stacy.

A shattered plate of fish lay before me, its belly stuffed with black plastic.
The person who ate the plastic gagged, then, kicked me hard, venting his anger.
I screamed in pain, curling up to protect my abdomen.
My reaction seemed to excite him. He lifted my oversized shirt, staring at my stomach.

“Whose kid is it, some stray dog from the slums?”
He raised his foot and ground it into my stomach, enjoying my pain.
Stacy's expression turned odd, but Elon remained bland, unreadasble.
She handed me a glass of strong liquor with a malicious smile.
“Emma, if you drink this, I'll let you go today. How about it?”
“Otherwise, you'll pay 500,000.”
This was the first child I had since my miscarriage, I couldn’t drink during pregnancy.
Tears welled up in my eyes as I looked at Elon, hoping he would save our child.
But he seemed like a stranger, ignoring my pleas.
A pot of hot fish soup was poured over my head, and I screamed, trying to dodge.
But Stacy pressed her foot down on me.
My skin burned red, stinging unbearably.
Everyone in the room laughed.
Pain shot through my abdomen. As my consciousness faded, Elon finally stood.
His face held a hidden fury, and he raised his hand to stop Stacy.
He draped his warm suit over me, shielding me from the mud.
