As expected, I was betrayed by Stacy.
But I never imagined I would be kidnapped by those abusers.
The leader was the man who had eaten plastic at the restaurant.
I didn’t know much about these rich kids, but after that dinner, he’d been targeted by the Francos in business.
He had become a bankrupt stray dog.
He took my phone, forcing me to call Elon, only to find I’d blocked him.
If Elon returned to our “home” today, he would find the house empty and all his belongings were thrown downstairs.
The small fish stall had also been returned and closed down.
"I didn’t expect you to have some skills, daring to play with someone like Elon."
The man seemed surprised I’d willingly let go of the rich. To him, my value as a bargaining chip grew.
But I didn’t think all of Elon’s actions against him were because of me. He was only trying to cover up Stacy’s wrongdoings.
"Elon, Emma is in my hands. If you want to save her, trade the Franco family's stocks."
The call finally connected. I was tied up on the rooftop, the wind howling in my ears.
Elon's cold, indifferent voice, however, was unexpectedly clear and sharp.
"I have no ties to her. I’m marrying Stacy today—she’ll be my only wife."
"As for her and that child, you can do whatever you want with them."
He ended the call, leaving the enraged man behind.
The man slapped me, then tried calling Stacy to hold her accountable. No one answered.
At the noisy wedding, they were exchanging rings.
When the phone rang again, Elon sounded impatient. It was noisy on his end, and it was almost time for the toasts.
"Elon, don’t you want people to know that your wife is a notorious bully?"
It wasn’t until those accomplices threatened Stacy with this that Elon’s mood showed a hint of fluctuation.
"Ten percent of the stocks, one share each. Or we’ll post those videos online—let everyone see your wife’s true face."
The videos showed Stacy bullying disadvantaged students in high school, their laughter mingling with the victims’ cries.
Their faces, Stacy’s, mine—maybe even Elon’s—were all there.
"Ok, I’ll buy all those videos."
