As the days passed, Jeonghan couldn't help but notice subtle changes in Ara and S.coups behavior that sparked his curiosity. Yes, he was being suspicious but he kept ignoring. It's been a week now ara and minghao won the dance assignment. Everything was going smoothly for scoups and ara they both talked on chats. Met at various places in the college and their friends helped them.
Jeonghan noticed that Ara and Seungcheol were spending more time together, them visiting Library at the same time , chatting during breaks at college. He found it unusual since they had always been close but seemed even closer lately. He noticed Ara and Seungcheol sharing knowing smiles and exchanging glances when they thought no one was looking. He caught them laughing at inside jokes and sharing little secrets, which made him wonder if there was something more going on between them.
Despite his suspicions, Jeonghan didn't want to jump to conclusions. Despite wanting to trust his sister and his best friend, he couldn't ignore the nagging doubts that lingered in the back of his mind.As he reflected on Ara's promise to always confide in him and seek his permission before dating anyone, Jeonghan felt a mix of emotions.
Jeonghan knew that he needed to approach the situation carefully. He didn't want to confront Ara and Seungcheol without concrete evidence, but he also couldn't ignore his gut feeling that something was amiss.
Despite his lingering suspicions and protective instincts, Jeonghan ultimately decided to trust Ara and Seungcheol. He pushed aside his doubts and chose to believe in their honesty and integrity. After all, Ara was his beloved sister, and Seungcheol was his closest friend. He didn't want to let his worries cloud his judgment or strain their relationships.
As they made their way to the cafeteria, Jeonghan couldn't shake off the feeling of unease regarding Seungcheol's whereabouts. He had noticed his absence from class and was growing increasingly concerned. However, Joshua's reassurance about Seungcheol being at the library helped alleviate some of his worries, albeit temporarily.
When they encountered Mingyu and Jungkook in the corridor, Jeonghan's thoughts turned to Ara. Mingyu's explanation about Ara being summoned by the teacher for assignments raised another flag of concern in Jeonghan's mind. He couldn't help but wonder why Ara was being singled out so often lately.
Despite his lingering suspicions, Jeonghan decided not to dwell on them too much, choosing instead to trust his friends' explanations. However, a small seed of doubt continued to gnaw at him, prompting him. Little did he know that his instincts were not unfounded, and the truth would soon reveal itself in unexpected ways.
As Jeonghan walked alongside his friends, Mingyu and Jungkook's banter filled the air, accompanied by Joshua's infectious laughter. Despite the light-hearted atmosphere, jeonghan was smiling seeing mingyu and jungkook bantering.
His thoughts drifted as he listened to his friends' playful teasing, but then he heard Ara's name mentioned in a nearby conversation. His steps faltered, and he tuned in, straining to catch every word.
"Did you hear about Ara? I heard she's dating him..."
The words hit Jeonghan like a sudden gust of wind, knocking the breath out of him.His expression a mix of confusion and concern.
"Who is she dating?"
"Choi Seuncheol, I saw her and Seungcheol together on the rooftop..."
The mention of Seungcheol's name sent a shiver down Jeonghan's spine. He felt a knot form in his stomach as he processed the implications of what he had just heard.
"They make a cute couple, don't they? Choi Seungcheol and Yoon Ara..."
Jeonghan's heart sank as the reality of the situation began to sink in. His sister, Ara, and his best friend, Seungcheol, were dating? The thought seemed surreal, almost impossible to comprehend.
Jeonghan's heart raced as he processed the conversation he had just overheard. The words echoed in his mind, stirring up a whirlwind of emotions. He couldn't believe what he had heard - Ara and Seungcheol dating? It felt like a punch to the gut, catching him completely off guard.
Ignoring the attempts of his friends to stop him, Jeonghan's feet carried him towards the rooftop, his mind spinning with a flurry of questions and doubts. He needed to know the truth, to confront Ara and Seungcheol about what he had heard.
As Ara rested her head on Seungcheol's shoulder, their fingers intertwined, they found comfort and strength in each other's presence. they sat together on the rooftop, their hearts brimming with love and anticipation.
"I think it's time, cheol," Ara whispered softly, her voice tinged with a hint of nervousness. "We need to tell Jeonghan oppa about us."
Seungcheol tightened his grip on her hand, offering her reassurance and support. "I agree, Ara," he replied, his voice steady and resolute. "We can't keep hiding our relationship from him. He deserves to know the truth."
Ara nodded, her heart pounding with a mixture of excitement and apprehension. She knew that telling Jeonghan would be a difficult conversation, but she also knew that it was the right thing to do.
"We'll tell him together, Ara," Seungcheol promised, his gaze filled with unwavering determination. "No matter what happens, we'll face it together."
With a shared smile and a silent understanding, Ara and Seungcheol made a pact to reveal their love to Jeonghan, knowing that their bond was strong enough to weather any storm. As they sat together in the quiet stillness of the rooftop, they knew that no matter what the future held, their love would always be their guiding light.
As the rooftop door burst open, Ara and Seungcheol's peaceful moment was shattered by the sudden arrival of Jeonghan, his face contorted with anger and betrayal. Without a word, he stormed towards Seungcheol, his hands clenched into fists as he grabbed hold of his collar, his rage palpable in the air.
Seungcheol's heart sank as he felt Jeonghan's grip tighten around his collar, the accusation in his eyes cutting through him like a knife. He opened his mouth to speak, but the words caught in his throat, his mind racing to find a way to calm his friend's fury.
Ara stepped forward, her voice trembling with emotion as she tried to intervene. "Oppa, please listen," she pleaded, her eyes pleading for understanding. "We didn't mean to keep it from you. We just... we didn't know how to tell you."
Jeonghan's grip on Seungcheol's collar loosened slightly, but the anger in his eyes remained undiminished. "How could you do this behind my back?" he demanded, his voice laced with hurt and betrayal. "You're supposed to be my friend, Seungcheol. How could you betray me like this?"
Seungcheol's heart ached at the pain in Jeonghan's voice, his own guilt weighing heavily on him. "I'm sorry, Jeonghan," he said, his voice filled with remorse. "I never meant to hurt you. I love Ara, and I couldn't hide it any longer. Please, try to understand."
Ara reached out, placing a hand on Jeonghan's arm, her eyes pleading for forgiveness. "We're sorry, Jeonghan oppa," she whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "We didn't want to keep it from you. We just... we didn't know how you would react."
For a moment, silence hung heavy in the air as the other three friends stood locked in a tense standoff, each grappling with their own emotions. Then, with a heavy sigh, Jeonghan released his grip on Seungcheol's collar, his anger giving way to a deep sense of sadness.
As Jeonghan turned to leave, his heart heavy with the weight of betrayal and hurt, he caught sight of Jungkook, Mingyu, and Joshua standing nearby, their expressions a mix of concern and regret. With a heavy sigh, he approached them, his steps slow and measured.
"Did you know about this?" Jeonghan asked, his voice tinged with bitterness as he gazed at his friends, searching for answers.
Jungkook, Mingyu, and Joshua exchanged uneasy glances, their guilt evident in their eyes. After a moment of silence, Joshua spoke up, his voice tinged with remorse.
"Jeonghan ....listen actually," Joshua admitted, his tone apologetic. "we didn't know how to tell you. We were just trying to help..."
Jeonghan's jaw tightened at the revelation, his heart sinking even further at the realization that his friends had been keeping secrets from him as well. He felt a surge of betrayal coursing through him, a sense of trust shattered by their silence.
"Joshua i didn't expected this from you," Jeonghan said quietly, his voice tinged with disappointment. "I thought I could count on you, but you kept this from me."
Mingyu and Jungkook exchanged guilty glances, their expressions reflecting the weight of their actions.
"We're sorry, Jeonghan hyung," Mingyu said, his voice barely above a whisper. "We didn't mean to hurt you. We just... we didn't know what to do."
With a heavy heart, Jeonghan turned and walked away, leaving his friends standing in his wake, their words of apology hanging in the air. As he disappeared from view, a sense of regret settled over Jungkook, Mingyu, and Joshua, knowing that their actions had caused irreparable harm to their friendship.
