I saw a market on the way so I bought chocolates, gifts and flowers for my wife.
When I reached my home there was no one.
My heart dropped and I opened my phone then I Noticed 87 missed calls.
‘Shit! Why did I put my phone on silent!! You are so dumb!”
I called vihaan immediately.
“Bhai hospital right now! bhabhi's water broke” He said and hung up the call.
I put everything on the table and literally ran towards my car.
I drove the car at full speed without caring about anything right now!!
My phone's alarm started ringing.
“Ishi's dinner time” I whispered and turned it off.
“I am sorry biwi I didn't know tonight the baby will come into our life. I am so sorry even if the date is after 12-15 days I should have been more careful” I said and wiped my sweat.
My one hand is steering wheel and one hand is above my chest.
“Please be safe, I just want you meri jaan. Just some more minutes, I'll be there.” I said to myself and fastened the speed.
In a few minutes I reached there.
I ran into the hospital and went towards the delivery ward.
They were sitting there.
I ran and stood in front of the door then I turned around.
I looked at them waiting for my answers.
“We just came and they took bhabhi inside,” Vihaan said.
I walked towards choti Maa “She was crying and screaming in pain right?” I asked and she cupped my face.
“No beta she is so strong all the way. She was so brave she continued taking deep breaths and didn't go unconscious. She is so strong.” Choti Maa assured me and Maa rubbed my back.
We waited outside till now Shiv, Ani, Rudra, Krisha, Aru, Aashvi, her Mom, everyone came.
Saira came out and I walked towards her.
“W…what happened she is fine right?” I asked and she looked at me with hurtful eyes.
“There are some complications: normal delivery is hard and maybe her life would be in danger as the baby is not responding and her breathing rate is getting lower and lower.” She said and went somewhere to get a tool and again went inside and I am numb now.
I heard Ishi's painful screams.
Her and my Maa started crying.
Almost everyone had tears in their eyes and I sat on a chair while holding my head.
My eyes are burning.
My head is paining.
My heart is aching.
My hands are shivering.
Choti Maa came and sat beside me “Beta?” she said and I lost my control.
I put my head on her lap and held her hand tightly.
"I.....I can't live without her! C....choti m....maa please call her! T.....tell her to c...e back to m.....me! P.....please I'll die w….without h....h-”
I struggled with my life to even utter a sentence of being without her.
I cried with my head on her lap.
“Nothing will happen beta” She said
“Promise?” I asked and looked at her with hope.
She didn't say anything, making more tears flow from my eyes.
I looked at others and everyone was emotional and almost everyone had tears in their eyes and were struggling to think straight.
AUTHOR’S POV:
Kabir hugged badi maa and cried hugging her.
“Please save my bhabhi Maa I can't think about my life without her”
Natasha put her head on vihaan's shoulder “Vihaan bha-”
“Nothing will happen Nats! Shut up! She is Ishika” Vihaan said and wiped her tears whereas tears came from his eyes without him knowing.
Everyone is supporting each other at this point.
YUVI’S POV:
“Bhai!” Saira said and asked me to come i
outside.
“Her breathing rate and her heart rate is so slow! we need her awake and not unconscious” She said through her mask and till now I wore my mask which she gave to me.
“Before she gets unconscious we need to make her push and let me tell you the baby is not responding to anything so we don't know what will happen afterwards” She said.
I just looked at Ishi's face which has lost its colour right now.
I kissed her forehead.
“Nothing will happen ishi please be strong d….Don't close your eyes” I said and caressed her hair.
She looked at me and her breathing rate fastened slowly.
“Bhabhi push” Saira said and she had to do it and I encouraged her to do it while kissing her hand helping her through my hands pushing from upside to downwards just how Saira told me to do.
“She is closing her eyes, nurse!!” Saira said a nurse did something with machines but I am losing my mind.
‘M….my ishi m…my baby’
She started closing her eyes and my eyes widen
“N…no baby d…don't close your eyes p…please please I love you ishi I can't live without you baby listen to me” I said and she looked at me with half open eyelids.
“Bhai do not let her close her eyes it will be a danger for her and baby both” Saira said and while pushing on her stomach.
I held her hand tightly.
“You are so strong biwi can you do it for me? for our baby? please? Just a last push last p…please” I said and she nodded lightly
“S…Saira she nodded” I stuttered
“Bhabhi last and final time!” Saira and I held her hand tightly all the time.
At last, Ishi screamed in pain, splitting my heart into half.
I saw my baby and my wife both.
My tears never stopped and I I kissed her hand and wiped her tears too.
“I love you” I said and kissed her forehead.
“Baby is not crying!! No movement Nothing!!” Saira said and rubbed the baby's back.
“b..baby” ishi whispered and I walked towards my baby.
I opened my arms and she gave me my little life in my arms.
I hugged him or her. I still don't know.
More tears came and I rubbed the baby's back.
Nothing happened and Ishi started crying so badly.
“Y….yuvi our baby! baby please I want my baby I can't live without our baby now. please yuvi please save our baby I can't I c…..can't Y…yuvi please I request please” she struggled through her words and joined her hands and my heart ached.
I stopped feeling everything.
I have my baby in my arms but no response.
I have my wife safe but still not safe.
I took a deep breath and hugged the baby again.
“Papa loves you” I said in a low voice and the baby moved a little.
My eyes widened and I felt like my body got a life again.
Suddenly a loud sound of crying filled the hospital.
Then I heard a loud sound from others too from outside.
I cried while hugging our baby and went towards ishi.
She touched our little life gently and her happy tears never stopped.
I Don't care if my shirt and my neck is full of blood and anything else. I just care about our little life.
“Yuvi girl or boy?” She asked and then I looked at her gander.
I broke into tears as soon as I got to know we have our goddess now.
“A baby girl” I whispered and she put her hand on her mouth and i can see even if she is not fine she is still fine.
They took my daughter with them from cleaning and all while they cleaned ishi and I just sat beside her kissing her hand.
After a few minutes they came with her. I also changed into another shirt.
I always have a pair of clothes in my car.
I kissed the forehead of Ishi who is sleeping right now.
I took my little Gudiya rani in my arms and went outside and they went silent.
Like pin drop silent.
They moved towards me slowly and I nodded.
“Is she fine?” Their first question.
I nodded and she sighed in relief.
I just stood there with my Gudiya rani in my arms and they just admired her, not touching her at all.
“She is a girl” I said and they controlled their urge to scream and hoot in happiness.
“I came here in a rush . I'll take Bath first then I'll touch her.” Shiv said and others agreed with him.
They just admired her and looked at her in aww.
Maa didn't let anyone complement her as nazar lag jayegi.
(Maa didn't let anyone complement her to save her from evil eye)
Ishi's maa put a kajol in my pocket and told me to apply it on princess feet and on ishi's behind ear.
I nodded.
“When can we meet bhabhi?” Kabir asked and they looked at me.
“I don't kno-” I stopped and everyone stopped at their place even stopped breathing as she moved in my arms.
She again slept, making us feel relieved.
Saira comes outside and they ask if they can meet her.
“No, it will be too crowded for her. The delivery was normal. She will be discharged tomorrow. You'll be able to meet her tomorrow" she said.
“Me?” All the Maa’s said.
“Okay but only you three” Saira said and let them meet ishi while they again surrounded me to have a look at my little life.
After they met ishi they all went home.
Correction: I forced them to go back.
I entered the room and made my gudiya rani lay in her crib and sat beside ishi who is awake now.
“So how are you feeling princess mumma?” I asked and she smiled.
“I am feeling magical like no other feeling like this! and I am the happiest in this world right now! We have a goddess, a daughter and a princess. I will give her all the love she deserves” She said looking at me and I held her hand.
“How are you feeling, baby girl's papa? I asked.
“I Don't know how to describe this feeling, it's just I never knew I wanted to become a father this badly. It feels like I entered a new world of living. I am just so happy” I said and hugged her lightly, not giving my weight to her.

I heard our princess crying and I stood up to take her in my arms after saying I love you to ishi.
I walked towards Ishi and made her lay beside her.
Ishi fed her breast milk and she stopped crying.
“She is so small” I said and looked to cover her with a blanket.
Ishi nodded with a smile and I applied Kajal on Gudiya Rani's feet and behind Ishi's ear.
I lightly caressed princess hair which is soft and beautiful.
On the other hand I caressed Ishi's head.
After some time my both little little life slept.
I covered them both again with the blanket and just sat there looking at them both.
“I'll fight with the whole world to save you both from anything” I promised to myself and I don't know when I slept sitting there alone.
In morning~
When I woke up I looked at my baby girl's hand, she wrapped her all the finger on my finger to hold it tightly so that I could feel her sweat on my finger.
I kissed her hand lightly to make her leave my finger but she tightens the grip.
I smiled and kissed Ishi's forehead.
Gudiya rani woke up after sometime and I tool her in my arms gently.
I walked in the room with her in my arms carefully so that she doesn't cry and ishi can sleep for more time.
After a few minutes, Ishi also woke up.
“Good morning baby” I said and she looked at me.
“She must be hungry” She said and opened her arms.
I carefully gave her to ishi and she Started feeding her.
“I love you” Ishi said looking at me and the princess looked at us with her big doe eyes.
Ishi giggled and I smiled looking at her.
“Have your breakfast ma'am” I said and kissed her temple gently.
“I'll be back with clothes and everything” I said and she nodded.
I went and freshened up.
Took bath, wore other clothes and came back to ishi's room with her clothes and brushed her sunscreen.
I made sleeping gudiya rani sleep in her crib.
Saira came and checked on her.
“Bhabhi you can freshen up and can discharge in an hour you and baby both are fine” She said and left us alone.
I picked ishi up gently in my arms.
I took her to the washroom and helped her in brushing and even taking a bath.
Now she is sitting on her bed and I am drying her hair.
“We are going to our home with our little princess with us. This all feels so unreal.” Ishi said and kissed her lips.
“You are so cute” I said and she smiled.
“Let's go home everyone is waiting there” I said and she stood up.
I took all the bags and essential things after paying the bills.
“You stay here I will come back after putting all of this in a car” I said.
“No I'll come with you no need to come back I am fine now” She said and took the little princess in her arms gently.
I nodded and held everything from.one hand and wrapped my one hand around her waist and we walked towards our car.
I made her sit on her seat.
She made our little princess lay on her lap.
I put the window cover on her side of the window.
I sat on my seat and put the cover on my side of the window too.
I kissed Ishi's hand and started driving slowly.
Gudiya rani also woke up and looked at oshi then at me.
“Good morning gudiya rani so let me introduce myself I am your father Mr. Yuvraj Ishika Singh Yadhuvansi” I said and touched her feet.
“And the one on whose lap you are sitting is your mother Mrs. Ishika Yuvraj Singh Yadhuvansi” I said and ishi smiling looking at her.
“I hope you slept well and yes we love you” I said and she looked at me.
“Meri jaan, you are the luckiest you got the best family bacche” ishi talked to her and she looked at ishi.
All the way we talked to her but in between she started crying so I stopped the car roam here and there with her in my arms again made her lay on ishi's lap and then continued driving again.
We reached home.
We stepped out of the car.
“I so badly wanted to make the arrangements of Dhol crackers and everything for my gudiya rani entry like a festival but it's not good for her health so I had to drop the idea” I said.
“Good that you dropped the idea.” she said and started walking.
We walked towards the door and everyone there was waiting for us including my and her friends and her side of family too.
Maa came with Aarti thaal.
She did our Aarti.
“Wait” I said and stood in front of Ishi and Gudiya rani was in her arms.
I did her Aarti then our little life.
Then I kissed Gudiya Rani's feet.
Kabir and vihaan came with white t-shirt with a plate which has red liquid.
“Bhai don't worry the red liquid is made my beetroot no chemical or anything” They said and i nodded
Then they dipped Gudiya rani's feet in the liquid and got her foot prints on their t-shirt.
Then we entered the hall while walking a path of flowers which they made for us.
Slowly they all came towards ishi, met with her and then took gudiya rani in their arms gently after applying sanitizer.
When she started crying I took her in my arms and she stopped crying.
In a few minutes a pandit came.
“Maa why-”
“We talked with pandit ji and today is the best day to name our little Laxmi” Maa said
“NaamKaran? today?” Ishi and I asked.
(Name ceremony? today)
“After today then we have to wait for many days” maa said and we agreed for it.
We went to the Puja room and did a little Puja without any smoke and all.
“According to ritual It's bua's right” Pandit ji said.
Natasha came and sat beside ishi.
“Bhai bhabhi she is your daughter it's your both choice” She said and we smiled
“So do you both have a name in mind?” Choti Maa asked and we looked at each other then same together.
